Correction the hose clamp to mount the turn signal did end up being a ground. Some how it was making a halfway decent ground through the carbon wrap till it moved alittle then I figured out it was a ground.
I just want to say your video helped me out a ton I bought the same kit and just couldn’t figure out why it didn’t work and tried that flasher you mentioned and it worked thanks for the info
@@ThePaintPaperHustle It's gonna be awesome when you get done, something to be proud of for sure, all them late nights and frustrating times will pay off, alot of people don't understand a grass roots project becomes part of your soul...
@@Cnedley did you test the wires coming out of the unit at the unit to make sure the unit is good? Did you ground the unit. The hose clamp band needs a good ground to work. I had this issue and had to run a ground wire from the strap originally.
You said the 8 wire unit included horn. When I was a kid we had an 80 t bird. The horn wasn’t on the steering wheel, you pushed the turn signal in to sound the horn. That’s my guess since the package said ford. Did I win?
Idk if it’s for horn or not that’s just my guess also being when you search for the 8 wire one it says with horn. I’ll have to see if mine pushes in that’s interesting.
Channels picking up steam ! i dont always comment but i watch your videos every day I would like to be a you tuber myself i have videos up id like to do better the editing deal is really difficult and discouraging to me do you have any advice to offer ?
Thanks so much for watching. So all I use is my iPhone and then iMovie to edit and them two together make it super easy. How are you currently editing your videos?
Ok I’m lost on that. Mike who has been on here a few times edits on the computer and with an android and I tell him all the time that’s way harder than the iPhone platform. There’s a few things that have to work to get a channel to take off. Are you in the private RUclips creators Facebook groups. They are full of info and tips also

I have a 77 maverick, nice work man..where did you get your center console?
It’s out of a Nissan. Are you near Wilmington NC by any chance?
Looking good bro, what enticed you to build a drag car from scratch?
It started out as a show car and has grown into this honestly

I absolutely agree with you buddy. Thanks for following along with the journey
Is the red wire required to go to brake switch?
I’m sorry but it’s been awhile since I did this video. However I wired mine exactly how I did in video and it works great.
I have it all hooked up the exact way and can’t get my lights to turn on the thing is flash just not transferring to lights
