Hey love your car! At what mileage do you get the first service? Is that the break in service? And before that first service it’s recommended to stay under 4500 rpm right?
I have PPF on the entire front clip, headlights, mirrors, A arms, rocker panels and also replaced the OEM PPF in the rear quarter so it covers more area. The paint is holding up great and maintenance is easy. The child seat protector is made by Brico.

@@carguy302 Well, I test drove both vehicles (2022 models) and ended up ordering the M3. In general, I find it very difficult to develop a good feel for a car during a 5 minute test drive and understand that it takes time and miles to learn a vehicle's character. My impression of the M5 was that it is a very well behaved and mannered car with lots and lots of power. Now that I had the M3 for a little while, I can say that I truly love the road feel of the car...it sticks like glue to the road, provides great steering feedback, and I quite like the stiffness of the suspension (amongst other things). I figured since you own both and have much more miles under your belt in the M5 that you would be able to provide a great first hand comparison.
Had an engagement in MD this past wknd. Going to and from, the trip was amazing, the car just take off, and very comfortable. And you are correct, that front grille is mean looking and brings out the car, especially with the spacers. Just had a 10mm in front that's it. And let's not forget, its a gas guzzler.
That’s great to hear! The G80 has been an awesome road trip/daily driver car for me. In fact every M3 I’ve owned falls into that category. We live in a world of “blah” these days when it comes to new cars. The G80 is super aggressive and has exciting new design language. Soon you’ll see other manufacturers copy it.
The front end isn't for everyone but the S58 engine is a gem. From my experience the depreciation isn't terrible. For example I sold my 21 G80 M3 Comp for $80k after putting 13k on it. MSRP was $84k The biggest difference I noticed from the M5 is how nimble and light M3 feels in comparison. The M3 feels like it is on rails and the steering feel is much more connected & precise feeling.
Thanks my man! The iDrive 7 in the M5 is a great setup and is easy to navigate because it’s what I’m used to. However, the iDrive 8 is very sleek and modern looking and also is easy to use but will take some time getting used it. With that being said I would opt for the iDrive 8 setup if I had to pick one.
@@carguy302 Lol I'm still waiting on an allocation so I'm constantly changing my spec, most recently is black sapphire and I think that's my safest bet, but I seen a Sao Paolo Yellow XM6 today and It is giving me second thoughts lmao

@@robbierosnack4217 The car sounds great while your inside of it. In my opinion it almost sounds like a Porsche in some ways. The issue is that the sound of these cars can go bad quickly if the wrong exhaust mods are chosen. Sound is subjective and comparing it the other cars in the stable it cant hold a candle to the boosted V8's
I owned a 21 G80 M3 with the old screen and there is nothing wrong with it but the new iDrive 8 gives the car a more modern look & feel. It’s a huge improvement in my opinion.
Videos and pictures don’t do justice as to how beautiful this car is in person. I’d think that BMW would spend a little more money and upgrade those rear calipers. They look so cheap like they were painted in someone’s garage with spray paint from Home Depot. My F30 has much better looking calipers. The newest idrive covers half of the dashboard 😮 and it doesn’t look like it belongs in a BMW…IMO. Nonetheless, it’s a beautiful car.

Thanks bro! The 1st service is due by 1200 miles and it is a break in service. I've kept the RPM's under 4-5k

Thanks my man! No issues so far. I purchased a new wash mitt and soap from Chemical Guys made specifically for matte paint.

Thanks my man! The iDrive 7 in the M5 is a great setup and is easy to navigate because it’s what I’m used to.
