Hey bluegabe you and your brother are an inspiration to me I am 17 years old been watching you for about 3 years now I've been going through some depression and watching yours and your brothers videos makes me happy I it also been my dream to go hunting and deep sea fishing but I know someday I will it's also my dream to meet you guys. Love Jesus 😊
Its all good, 0 judgements here. We thoroughly enjoy your channel and your brother's channel. Always be safe out there.
Dan&Cindy/Utah
that's so true Gabe, the world has changed so much in my short lifetime, just the simple things can make such a difference!
Boy it's good to have the old bluegabe back again that means the old school videos are going to come back even better now glad to see you back big boy sorry about all the other stuff that happened in your private life but just really love to see you to see it in life you do awesome work on your RUclips channel
I know people keep bringing up Kelly and how much they miss her but y'all know she has her own RUclips channel where you can watch her videos yes the relationship between her and Gabe didn't work out and not all relationships are forever. They do have a life outside of social media and we only see what's on that but all good/ fun things don't last forever we are all human we all make mistakes we all have that soul mate it just takes longer to find the right one when your constantly making videos and then your viewers demand an explanation when that's their business.
Thank you 😊
No way they broke up
But he did say he was going to explain it.
I agree, I don't know why we can't just enjoy the video and move on .
Well said
This is by far the best video I've seen from you yet. Educational and old stories work well. I felt like I was there just by watching. Good stuff sir.
I have always loved oysters: smoked, raw, etc. But those are the most delicious looking oysters I have ever seen. Man, would I ever love to try one. Well done, brothers!
Love watching you two guys hang out. More of these dynamic duo videos!
Two of my favorite Florida mans! Great job boys. Keep rolling Gabe.
👊🏽
@@TugTrashOutdoors rock on ian you are a awsome person and cant wait to see a steady stream of content from you. Your mind though is not just fishing videos i really enjoy the life day to day i believe you are going to be making. If your ever up to the great north canada shoot a message i am in b.c on the shushwap lake. You cab make some great content from anywhere. 💯%
I've watched thousands of catch n cook videos and not once was my mouth watering until this video! Well done boys!
Better to say foraging than scavenging I'd say, foraging gives the impression of purposefully searching rather than scavenging as it sounds more like you're looking for scraps or leftovers from something else lol
100% respect your knowledge and experience. I have learned a lot from your videos and for that I am grateful. I must add, you have sold out bro! The sponsors completely own you! Last count on this video was 13 "plugs" albeit, verbal or photo" Much respect on the other end of the line...make that bank!!!
What's up Gabe? I'm terribly sorry that I can't make the trip out there to see you, due to my work schedule and family , but I just want to say, I do appreciate you for reaching out to me. Love you man
I used to do this with my great-grandfather grandpa and dad in North Carolina. Always learned something i can now teach my sons. Keep the videos coming.
21:23 catch clean and cook on an oyster bed 👍. Rock Star 🌟 afternoon!
One of your best videos. Humbling yourself reminds us what matters in life.
I've seen you do a lot of cool things. This was top 5 favorite of mine. Simple, real and just fun. Good friends, good fun ....great video!
Thank you
People get off the Kelly thing although on UTube they have a private side as well. Pray for them and just watch both of their channels. Enough said.
Awesome eats and good friends. Thanks for sharing your video.
Ian was a great guest, great personality. I'd love to see more of him on the channel.
I got a kick out of Gabe talking about steinhatchee resort and his partner in crime this afternoon is wearing a Sea Hag shirt !! I know both those places very well ! 🎣🎣
enjoy these new type of videos. keep up the amazing work and living your dream. God Bless and stay safe 🙏
Thank you for the awesome videos you put out. And also thank you for not turning this into a springer channel its no one's busy of your personal life shit happens most aren't here to see that. Keep up the awesome vids.

About 20 years ago my brother used to go out and get buckets full of oysters and he built a smoker that looked like an upright piano with like 4 rows in it. Though we're good😋
Gabe, you look a lot happier in this video. Hopefully life's going a little better.
@Joe Gabe kind of keeps his life private. But he does have a new girlfriend.

Love the channel I have an oyster farm our Oysters come out the water and go in a chiller on the boat at 45 f They are washed in processed in a walk in cooler at 45f. We do Oyster meat samples every harvest to make sure the public gets the best safest Oyster to eat. I have been an Oyster farmer and harvester of wild Oysters for 40 years. I am retiring in two years when I will be 62. Oysters have minerals in them that we need in our bodies.
22:51 priceless "ont get no fresher en nat!"
I really loved this vid Gabe!! I like the mellow vids you make and I learned a ton about oysters! Thank you, I subbed to Tug Trash as well, so far I like his vids:)
Yeah I don’t know who ate the first oyster but I’m sure damn glad they did! And now that I know to set trip lines for conches and herding them up I’ll be able to catch more 🤣 great video Gabe, loved this one but was very jealous lol
Sorry to hear about Cole's dad. He very likely did not die from eating the raw oyster, but developed a skin infection from a cut from the oyster or other contact with the oyster. The bacteria likely responsible, vibro vulnificus, can cause severe GI illness when infected through the GI tract (eating the oyster) and severe skin infection such as necrotizing fasciitis when infected through the skin. That being said, people can die from vibrio infection from eating oysters, but most people who do have risk factors such as old age (>70), diabetes, liver disease, alcoholism, or other diseases. Big fan of the channel!
100% accurate. Also this bacteria can infect from any raw seafood. There is a ton of eating of raw fish on this channel and no one has ever mentioned this fact.
What a way to spend some time. Love when you two collaborate!
Best part of fishing here in st Augustine is exactly what they are doing: eating oysters right off the oyster bar waiting for a red to take your bait🙌 Mr Tug trash is doing it right
Love the videos! Coming down for the winter love the tip on the nose elms, thanks

Wish I was sitting on that oyster bed with you guys. Those Oysters sound so good I have just finished dinner and you made me hungry.
I have watched Blugabe and the boys before they got together Still will watch both channels best to you all and your sons xxx
Great video. Thank you Tug for sharing the "how to cull the oysters".
Gabe you (like me) are so much more relaxed when you are not the skipper. Funnier too!
Yeah because 99% of the stress is gone then 👊
Tugs about the only guy I seen can completely fill a rubber boot! love ya Guys
This is good stuff BlueGabe! A lot of good education here from ya boy Ian! That’s how we do it up here in Savannah GA. As always thanks for sharing!
Great video brother used to go do that with my neighbor when I was in my early teens lot of fond memories although I was told by a girl one time with oysters tasted like so I've never eaten tomorrow they just look too slimy it's snot on the half shell keep up the great work brother
Gabe. FYI: I've been eating raw oysters all my life (86 yrs old) here in WA State with no ill effect. However, we only take and eat oysters in moths that have an "R" in them (fall thru spring) when water is coldest. Also you never gather and eat oysters when there is a "red tide" as you can get very sick. Thanks for quality vid!
First , congratulations on making it to 86 yrs old ! here in Florida, you can't go by months with "R's" in them. IE: Sept and Oct, Because the water is still hot ! Mid 80's . We always eat oysters , and seafood for Thanksgiving, instead of turkey . Raw on a cracker with a splash of hot sauce , yummy .
I love seeing the Sea Hag marina tee shirt I live just north of Steinhatchee in Mayo
My wife knows two different people that died from eating raw oysters. It hasn’t stopped us though. Life is a crap shoot. I’m gonna enjoy it while I can.
Just moved to the Texas coast and love the idea of cooking for oysters. Not a whole lot of info about doing it. Thanks.
What up bluegabe enjoy watching your videos all kinds of cool things to see peace 👍
Wow! Catch and cook fresh oyster! I'm watching with happiness hehe
More foraging videos in Florida!!! Loved this!
Got me where I live Gabe! Love them boogers! I can sit and eat like 2-3 dozen myself, with some chile and lime! Wash em down with some beer! Happy! Gotta go visit Tug in his channel. Thank you for sharing Gabe, God bless!
Give me a BLT WITH EXTRA BACON 🥓 😋!
Best oysters I've ever had was at a golf resort. Had a basket of fried oysters for lunch. YUMMM so good.
I really like the vlog style videos when u do then BlueGabe!
Thank you
But can you smell it ? Emmm , oyster lover here , dang it man , now I want some grilled oysters
Pop them on a hot grill and wait till they smile and crack them open. Keep the salty mixture inside of the shell, add a little of tabasco sauce and enjoy. Oysters are my favorite! I can eat a few dozen by myself.
I really enjoy watching you fish but I enjoy your stories about your childhood.
Awesome Video!! Loved it!!!
I like these style of videos...
Awesome Gabe! Oysters looked delicious!
awesome video Gabe!
I'm from cedar key FL just south of steinhatchee and I oysters for years in cedar key...and oysters in fact DO sit on the bottom in singles in some areas...we tong them up into a board until it's full then we cull then off the ones that are in clumps...and that oyster bar y'all are in is a gold mine..there's so much money on that bar, theres alot of nice oysters there...and where I'm from you have to have an SPL salt water product license to oyster...me and my cousin would go out and bring back 16 to 18 bushells all in about 6 hours to a shop and sell them...we had to tag each bushell with the zone we harvested them from and the date
Howdy Bluegabe and TugTrash. Enjoyed the video!
I remember back in the 60s we go pick oysters some were South Miami with my parents. There was not sure if still is a little private beach we paid 50 cent. It was fenced off. On low tide you could walk out on the beach all oysters beds My home made speacial tool for each of us from a wooden handle putty knife he ground it down to a half inch blade that worked great faster cleaner and safer for us kids. We all sat there with our own plastic little beach buckets to put in when I had enough I wash them out good with beach water add lemon Tabasco and suck them down just hours of picking. I was 6 years old I never heard of anybody that died from eating oysters. I still love and eat them but not as much its been many years I haven't pick any fresh ones and way too expensive,
Thanks for the info on pink sheen. Just moved to jensen beach on a canal and no see ems (sp?) Are obviously bad. Will be trying it out asap. I'm local and on disability and have plenty of time and experienced fisherman. If you ever need a hand feel free to reach out to me as I'd love to learn the waters down here. I'm from Port Canaveral area and also have 500+ dives under my belt.
Great video as always!
do you straight up spray this stuff on your skin?
He always has good content in his videos. Love this channel
Great video! I live in SC looks like we have basically the same waters for oysters. I have several battle wounds that the oysters have won. I just got a McDonald’s fish filet! I agree they are the best ever!
Born in Maryland .I like any way they can be cooked and raw. Also Oyster stew Chesapeake Bay style.
I absolutely love this video I absolutely love oysters and especially on the half Shell raw they are so good but I have never had them over a grill did like you guys did so that would be great and I can't wait to check out his channel oh my God now I really want oysters.
Great show as always
Have them make that two pieces of fish double fillet of fish. Twice as good
Heat your oisters, in brownd butter with parsley and gralic, served on toast, the best meal ever
