It is actually easy to to take off the belt clip you just need a flat head screwdriver, hammer and pliers so you need to take the flat head screwdriver and hammer under the tabs and pry it up while holding the opposite side with your pliers and to put it back just bend it back to where it was with your pliers or your hammer I have done this same way when I shortened a 8 foot rail to a 7 foot if you have any questions just reply back.
Hey, I have a question, how many gears are in a chamberlain 1/2 hp ac travel module, I am not sure if I lost a gear inside because it has 2 and I remember it having 3 last time I opened it.
