At the end of 2021, my long-distance boyfriend was finally able to come to Seattle from Europe after an almost two-year travel ban! I had a lot of fun playing tourist in a city that I've been mainly based in for the last 15 years, and I also did some activities in Seattle that I've never done before!

I live in the Seattle Tacoma area. It's definitely a fun place to visit, a lot to do. Restaurants, bars, markets, etc. One downside is the cost of living, my fiancé and I only have a 2 bedroom duplex and even that's expensive. It's definitely different culturally if you're coming from the east coast, when I moved here in 2018, I really had to readjust. If you don't mind the dreary days for majority of the year and you have the money to live comfortably, then Seattle is really fun.

The EU ban was such a struggle. I had to stay in Canada for 2 weeks just so i could visit my parents last Xmas... Happy you guys could reunite!

I would say that it’s pretty mild as of late! Pretty sunny and mild in the spring and perfect in the summer!
