@@DrivingSchoolTVCan’t lie when I read ‘Brentwood’ in the thumbnail I even thought that was incorrect and you meant ‘Brentford’. Upon realising Brentwood is actually a place in the UK where you can drive. Who’d of thought? 😂
Hi lilli , congratulations, my test approaching fast at Brentwood , can u share ur experience, what route u did on test day ? Any tips or guidance much appreciated thnx .🥰
Your enthusiasm for Brentwood makes me feel a bit better about my test there tomorrow! I don't love it nearly as much as you do but this gave me a boost in confidence!! 😁
Good luck Some tips from someone who passed this test center, remember to look out for roundabouts. And if you get that turn right on the bend, remember to look left to see if theres oncoming cars
Brentwood looks a fantastic place to take your driving test. Seems to have virtually everything you want. Nice open roads, some narrow but easy enough to navigate so long as your going the correct speed for the road conditions. Fantastic stuff!
Your energy is unmatched, I think the area deserves another point just because you drove there 😂 If I saw you on the road my day would immediately be better!
Sure am, if you want a good dtive I recommend the countryside.. especially in the spring, I'll still be watching the videos so if you want a few pointers I won't hesitate to help out.. obviously different country, different rules@@DrivingSchoolTV
I'm near the city of Osijek, you can obviously google the location.. bit of a brag, one of the only two towns in the country with trams! If you end up visiting give me a shout and we can meet up or I can give you a route through text.. either way take care ❤@@DrivingSchoolTV
I’m not from Brentwood but as I live in Dagenham, I got taken to Brentwood on multiple occasions to practice the country roads and also that double roundabout at the end of the high street. Passed 1st time and it was a 7am test too so yh, really good and I’d recommend it for sure
@usmansethi1014 Great thanks for asking. Yh so the high street as u know will usually be a bit busy as people cross whenever they want😂. The double roundabout at the end of the street can be tricky so just revise that too. You’ll probably end up going on a country road. The one I went on had this section where it was going downhill and the right turn was sharp and I couldn’t see what was ahead but hopefully u don’t get that. As for whether they ask you to follow the signs, if they don’t say anything, just keep going straight. If they interfere because they feel you’re doing something wrong, it’s probably going to be a fail. But yh in general Brentwood is really simple so as long as you’ve done the area a lot.
I went on the TfL Bus to Brentwood (the 498). Brentwood is the furthest east a London bus will go (if you exclude school buses, as the bus 608 goes further than Brentwood - to Shenfield High School).
I failed in Brentwood on my first attempt in 2011, in retrospect looks easier, the double mini roundabouts (failed here for lane position on this one 13:57 turning right) and hill starts threw me off but I reckon that’s because I was never taught them. Spent most of my first 30h driving up and down mile end road onward Whitechapel with an instructor who watched movies on his phone. That’s back when I didn’t know any better.
@@DrivingSchoolTV probably a 5 or 6, it’s definitely got some difficult bits with 50mph dual carriage ways but not quite on the level of Basildon or Chelmsford
@@DrivingSchoolTVahh sorry I meant England that’s still insane though there’s so many centres and so much area to cover! Can’t wait for you to do my local centre 😅
@ I just decided on the handle I’m wanting to become a driving instructor though when I’ve been driving for 3 years (this year in November will be 3 years) I’m based in North Devon. When do you reckon you’ll be down this far south? 😅
6:30 funny enough you say that.. some give way signs have the word stop under them.. so stop signs have actually never felt more useless if they can just do that instead
Another great video with good vibes. Out of pure curiosity, are these official test routes you're driving? If so, are you using a test route app or something similar to get the routes? No worries if that's confidential, though 😉😂
Hah nah there's no secret even the test routes app doesnt have the official routes. They're supposed to be secret and they get changed all the time anyway. I ask around and find out where tests usually go and where the tricky bits are and build a route that takes in some/most of it
I live in Brentwood did my first test here and failed due to all the tight roads and for 1 major from clearance then did my second one in Chelmsford and passed but Brentwood actually has one of the lowest pass rates

I want you to review my local test centre, but I'm afraid to say it cos I've heard it's so easy... Everyone might try and book a test there and then if I fail in April I'll be screwed 😂😂
Ahh its so sad! I'm not sure on the exact reason but probably a combination of all the LTN's that have gone up recently, the ridiculous blanket 20 speed limits that make doing a proper test that meets all the criteria really difficult and the site is huge so they'll make a lot of money by selling it. All of that is just my opinion though
Yes, the one outside schools, thank you so much! I thought so because rule 243 says ‘do not stop or park near a school entrance except when forced to do so by stationary traffic’ but I just wanted to double check, also, rule 238 says ‘you must not wait or park, or stop to set down and pick up passengers on school entrance markings when upright signs indicate a prohibition of stopping’, many people think that no stopping literally means no stopping but it means no parking, no loading, no unloading, no boarding, no alighting, but you’re totally fine to stop on a no stopping clearway due to reasons beyond your control, if you literally have no other option other than to stop then you have to stop. 🙃
There is always an exemption if you’re prevented from proceeding by circumstances beyond your control or to avoid injury or damage to a person or property! Keep up the good work Francis and stay being cool! 😎
Love that thier is no priority. It annoys me this mindset of its my priority so im coming no matter what. I stopped and they should have went im commited space o my right the dived into . I thought im not moving , not to be awkward but if they hit me im statationary. There was the workers behind. When i dhecked my mirrors to see 1 of the men had stopped him to say to slow down as their driving showed no concern for safety. It was its my priority and get out of my way
Passed my test 1st try today with only 1 minor 🙌🏼🚗
I was right there in the waiting room when you walked in. Your videos helped and I'm glad I passed on my first attempt.
I agree, make sure you can stop in the distance you see to be clear!

awesome, hope you enjoy. Bit of everything round here, national speed limit roads, substantial roundabouts but also really slow speed areas
Cant wait! What would you rate it on difficulty?

Also some of the signs have been stolen, but the examiner will tell you.
