Thanks Ranjit! your review helped me in zeroing down on this phone. Planning to keep it for 3 years. I hope this last as long as Nokia 7 Plus that I am using presently! We are a family of only iPhones at home. However I prefer stock Android as a secondary phone.
The combination of features seem pretty decent in this device tbh - the Dimensity processor pairs well with the OLED display and the camera.
Moto is doing fabulous job hope they'll continue...
if this phone was a little cheaper like 19K, I would have gone for this blindly

Actually i prefer Google photos over other gallery app. It's much more smooth, organized and also supports cloud backup, it also has face grouping and other features that are simply not present on other gallery apps.
and i hate google photos, i dont want of my personal photos sucked in by google

@@vijayshimla1 I mean 'pros'... Advantage.. And by the way, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro is yet to release in India. Its launched in Europe and have expandable storage option. Motorola Edge 20 doesn't have memory card option.
@@rajeesh03 Motorola Edge 20 Pro, released in UK, does not have expandable external memory. It is possible to boost RAM from installed 12 GB to 15 GB, using part of the 256 GB fast internal storage.
Expandable RAM is not a Pro at all. Although the performance is already so good with its Mediatek gaming chipset.

Very good comprehensive review.. I wish they could have launched it two months before. I bought realme X7 in the mean time. But I prefer stock android over these customized OS. I did not updated the android 11 as I was not confident with their stable update capability. How can they give very good update if they keep on launching phones every month.
Coming to cons of moto x20 fusion, they should have provided good proximity which I feel very much important for a phone. Because with nokia 6. 1plus i lost all my data for an unknown reason when I travelled in an auto by factory reset. I noticed that the phone screen wakes up when you are walking though the double tap to wake screen option was not active. Please keep in mind to choose a phone with good proximity sensor

Appreciate the detailed review. Motorola Phones need this kind of reviews. Most People just read the specs & minor details.
The 1 thing I like with Galaxy A32 is the panel-comes with 800 nits brightness, making it easy to use under direct sunlight without any sweat. But motorola is doing a great job.
No bro I had A32, in sunlight its not good and heats a lot and lag a got. You will feel every second. A32 dont buy please
@@__rahul__095__ Post Android 12 update, I felt the things you experienced even with the general tasks. But a recent update has improved the performance a bit. But sunlight legibility is really good. For gaming, I too won't recommend A32

Auto brightness issue was I observed even with my Moto G first version everytime we need to manually adjust it when there is a change in lighting .. auto adjust takes it own time to correct 😀

1. Does native os provide call recording feature like the top up UI?
2. If not by default, are there ways to enable it?
3. What's the situation in this phone under review?
Call recording is available on my Nokia 7 plus, which is android one so I'm sure this one has that as well
it's there in the default calling app (Google caller), just swipe right to show the option,
but the only drawback with this feature is that the receiver will get a sound saying that you have turned on call recording
Even though the phone comes with the 108MP main camera, I think other than that, the overall camera could have been a little better. The Dimensity chipset addition is pretty good
I ordered this phone today and waiting for the delivery. Seems like overall good even with the flaws that Ranjit mentioned. Flipkart shows it takes 17 days for the delivery.

Based on the specs I think motorola and mediatek did a good job in terms of integrating a pretty good set of features to the phone
Actually he showed at 20% charge with 9 hours of sot. That means it may give more than 10 hours.
If my LG V60 got 9 hrs sot after almost 2 years I'd think something was wrong with it. I still get at 11 on auto brightness . When I first got it I constantly got at least 14 hrs on the 5000mah battery that was on 5g . 9 isn't bad tho with dual sims .

U should also mention the one of the biggest draw back of moto phones is charging speed this time they also tackled and improved by 30watt fast charging and cable provided inside is type c to type c considering 5000mah and motorola charging with in 1 and half hour is so great and thank full from those 2 and half hours previous moto phones taking time to charge 💯 percent
Why do people like type c to type c cable, any special use?..I thought it's a con since we don't get usb type a cable to connect to pc.
@@ShauriePvs yeah dude they help in increase in passage of faster current for charging (with out changing battery structure like realme splits battery for faster charging moto doesn't do that) and faster speed for data transfer compared to type A to type C cable

Hi Ranjit ji I really liked your way of explain and how to simple way tell us about product features.
Normally other blogger just talk too much rubbish they don’t genuinely speak about products.
Overall Loved the in depth review, this is what a review should be. Just a small suggestion, you can trim out chunks of marking points over the sheet of paper, makes the overall video crisper for viewing. I don't think there is a huge con in this phone that would be a huge deal breaker. I like the addition of the Dimensity chipset and the 108MP camera

I purchased it last week. Phone operation and multitasking is very smooth. All sensors including magnetometer is present. Screen display looks beautiful. Only problem is that the battery drains very fast. I've set screen to 60hz, decreased the brightness to minimum and set battery optimisation but still battery drains fast.

I wouldn't be wrong to say that the 20 series could well be the turning point for Moto in India.

When I used own Moto G5s Plus, VLC world be my default video player and Google photos was my default gallery app. Coming from Samsung, it was weird for not having any extra apps in Motorola phones.
Not only gallery app, there no file manager like old moto mobiles used to have which is a bummer
I'm sure it does have one because removing files app would mean they have removed it from all phones and it would be all over twitter

Hi Ranjit, Liked your previous reviews, but LOVED your review on this one as I just ordered this one - is in transit from Amazon, and has a 30 days returns on it.... do you reckon this phone is still worth it with the Mediatek Dimensity 720 - as sold in the UK? I usually don't upgrade my phone as frequently as many people, and was looking to change from my current Asus phone.
