    I have ran echo calls for years, I have talked to Johnathan a few times when I'm sending calls in to retune he's a good down to earth guy. He's also a great duck caller and hunter.

      1000 percent. Definitely the best duck caller ive ever been around and the most humble guy about it. Echo is hard to beat 💪🏼

    The fog in the window is exactly what corrected mine years ago. Of course it was Mr Rick himself who gave me that awesome advice and it made it so easy to understand

    Met Johnathan and Rick last January and they were both so kind. Bought a Breaker call in Black Cherry Pearl with a brass band - BEAUTIFUL CALL. I need to go to those calling classes. Only problem is I live 500 miles away. Need to move my happy ass back to LR.

    I grunt into my call just at the begning and i still get lots of natural air is hot is that fine

    The hot air tip is golden

  • @guyrand442
    @guyrand442 Год назад +1

    I enjoyed the echo clip you did on calling. I’m trying to fog the glass. I don’t know that I’m grunting, it’s more like saying zip when I blow the call. To fog the glass you’re really just trying to blow hot air with no other influence like zip or grunt. Is that right? Appreciate the response.

    • @ChasingGreen
      @ChasingGreen  Год назад

      Yes, but as he says in the video, at some point you will want to add a little grunt back into it

    So I understand the hot air part but any tips on what to say or noise to make when calling ?

    • @ChasingGreen
      @ChasingGreen  Год назад +1

      Hard to say, hut usually works good or ten. Those are the most common used words. Hut seems to produce better air imo

    My biggest problem is locking the call up especially with attempting to hiccup. Sounds like this video will be my calling bible.

    Im like the opposite of these two. I thought o was shitty caller until the other daybi coaxed a lone mallard to swim up to our spread after calling back and forth with it for an hour. Acording to them too ive been doing it right this whole time

  • @joegodina1738
    @joegodina1738 Год назад +1

    I don’t think you need a dog all the time when you decoy ducks right in front of you, that’s why you learn how to call the right way, just saying 😊

    • @ChasingGreen
      @ChasingGreen  Год назад

      Lol yeah, dog makes it better but there by no means necessary. Hope to get me one soon but ive had other priorities that wouldnt allow one.

    • @mikeries8549
      @mikeries8549 Год назад +1

      Having a boat-blind and dog is sweet. Sit by heater. Shoot up close ducks. Dog delivers the ducks. What more can you want? 🤔
