I remember talking to my fitter about a few clubs and he said the same thing about the Steal + line: incredibly hot club, which is good and bad. Awesome video guys, really loving seeing you two back together!
I've always wondered why I don't see more equipment from the Srixons and Cobras in these types of videos. I could just be missing those videos but I feel like I only ever see Ping, Taylormade, Callaway, and Titelist. For this video in particular I thought that the Cobra LTDx LS was going to be shown with the Stealth Plus prior to brining out TSR3
A question for the dynamic duo. Back in 2019 you did a really interesting piece on fairway wood face depth. At that time the Cobra F9 was shallowest at 29mm, but most others were within 3 to 4mm. You compared these with the Callaway X Hot deep face at 39mm. I just wondered what the trend is today with companies like Titleist, Callaway, Mizuno, Cobra, Tour Edge etc. I know the Ping 425s are very shallow and sits very flat, I did demos with them and the Callaway Rogues, but found the Callaways too draw biased, a general problem if you are not quick enough for LS type versions.Thoughts, perhaps some content? Great to have you back, it made a very hard week bearable.
Went back and watched the Radspeed fairway/hybrid video. From the outside, it looked like that particular 3w was right on the number you guy’s where looking for. I understand testing the latest and greatest, but why not revisit that or the LtdX?
Love the video guys, question for you. I grip down the club on everything, something I’ve carried over from being a junior. I don’t want to cut anything off the shaft but even so should I add weight to the clubhead to get swingweight right because I’m gripping down?
Basically that is correct, lose some clubhead speed but gain control. I'm with tour lock weights also. Getting swingweight dialed, it is more sensitive at the upper end of the bag with the longer clubs.
great video, ian this is a question for you . im from jacksonville florida and i go to club champion for my fittings because i feel they have the best selection of gear for me to choose from. i am usually very partial to graphite design shafts due to their high quality and broad selection of shaft profiles. when i ask my reps at club champion why they dont carry many of the the gd shafts im told the owner has a beef with gd. this needs to go away. gd makes some of the best shafts in the industry and need to be made available . anything you can do would be great!!!!
I haven't researched fairway club fitting fully but in my preliminary exploration I have found out that big brand fitting carts are incapable of changing length other than "chocking down". How can people claim to be fitters if the same shaft length is used for someone 5'9" and someone else 6'2"?
Hi guys, really enjoy the channel. I'm 60 and a former 4X club champion. Due to some injury limitations Ive lost alot of clubhead speed. Getting better but Im chasing distance. I don't generate much spin any more. Im looking for a new 3 or 4 wood. Id like to try the Stealth Plus but I don't fit either the 15* or the 19*. Which direction should I go? 15 and add loft or 19 and decrease loft? Thanks, Icemakr
If you need to draw FW more go with 15 and turn loft up from there. If you prefer an open face at address to reduce draw shape then go with 19 turned down in loft.
It’s like the first 3/4 of 2022 never happened!! This is the best golf content
Something about seeing these two boys back together just puts a smile on my face 😀
100% transparency. This duo's content is the best, my favorite videos on RUclips. great work gentlemen. keep em coming.
I had no idea y’all were back to making videos together again. I’ll definitely be adding TXG back in the rotation. 👍🏼👍🏼

The boys are fully back and I am here for it! Great to see you two back in the bay!
Something about watching Matty's swing and the doctor of club fitting Ian's analysis is all quite impressive!
I love the work and seriousness of TXG when it comes to fittings and tutorials
Hope the course vlogs or virtual course matches come back too! So happy to see the boys back at it!
Matt's swing is something everybody should strive to have!

Awesome to see you gent’s back together!
Looking forward to this video, really enjoy watching the fitting process
Yeah, the combo of Ian's voice and analysis and Matty's buttery smooth swing is fire content......Mikey M's swing is hard watch for more then 2mins
Love it!! Would really like to see a complete fitting using a 10-15 handicap with under 100 swing speed.
I remember talking to my fitter about a few clubs and he said the same thing about the Steal + line: incredibly hot club, which is good and bad. Awesome video guys, really loving seeing you two back together!
So hyped for these

Definitely missed you two working together.
Can't wait to get a new 5 wood
Keep em coming!

You two need to stick together it’s the best golf content on RUclips
How about stealth plus 16.5 for more loft and more spin?
Screw gapping.....give me that rocket ship 3 wood!!! 🤣

You said it yourself. They want to test and promote the latest equipment.
Probably do the 16.5 head and loft it down opposed the 15 head lofted up? Seems to be the way Matt's clubs are usually setup
crazy the distance difference between the G425 and the Stealth +

I do the same and ended up adding the tour lock counterweights. Made a huge difference in my game. However, my bag weighs a whole 3rd grader now lol
Basically that is correct, lose some clubhead speed but gain control. I'm with tour lock weights also. Getting swingweight dialed, it is more sensitive at the upper end of the bag with the longer clubs.

Would the Ping 7 wood have ended up the proper fit instead of the 5 wood then? I just came from watching the 7 wood fitting video.
Why not a stealth plus 5w turned to 17.5 or 18 to get to the same spot?
That tensi orange shaft is underrated. Its so good. Wish more companies used it as a stock shaft
@@dronepocket325 Agree. The 1k is an exceptional shaft and competes with Fuji Ventus
Matte's new weapons are coming together. Specially once, he gets his swing down.

How can people claim to be fitters if the same shaft length is used for someone 5'9" and someone else 6'2"?
What happens when you get your hands on the ping 430?
Is the Stealth+ hotter than the Stealth?
More instruction please. Winter training (improving) is coming
These two are like Kobe and Shaq of Fittings

Isn't there a way to get the ball flight more straight and neutral? Those seems dangerous when playing a tighter course setup.
Why not go with a 4 wood lofted down since Matt's miss is usually right and that would open the face a bit?
Original Coca-Cola is back, thank God!
Don’t sleep on that shirt that Ian is wearing! That’s a golf shirt is a !
Is it just me or is the camera of Ian a little bit out of focus or unsharp?
keep going, lovin the content
How is it that Ian is out of focus the entire time in this video.....
Who’s Batman, and who’s Robin???
