I don't think Abyss has gotten that hard so powercreep only exist in characters for now we don't know about future, my Raiden is still doing amazing and plan on building my Keqing and others but have Arle to build first

I mean if electro has access to reactions that has dmg multipliers like vaporize and melt it would be a good comparison. This is what makes Electro, Geo and Anemo main dps subpar compared to amplifying reaction based dps. Their strongest teams are mono hypercarry team with niche supports.

@@Goran-eo5uc Read what I said "That has damage multipliers like Vaporize and Melt". Aggravate and Spread are "Additive" dmg reaction it ain't like Melt/Vape that "Multiply" the damage by 2x or 1.5x when you trigger those said reaction thus makes them deal more damage.

c3 my raiden like 2 years ago, and she already serve well for 2 year and will continue doing so until this game end. Clearing content 2-3 second faster and calling it powercreep is just stupid in the first place.

And this is why I do not pull for dmg increases on DPS... I can get behind support constellations but it gives me the same feeling.
I mostly pull for comfort upgrades. Nowadays I'd like to say Raiden is an Hyperbloom bot but actually I don't even use her for that... She's walled by shields and Shinobu has too amazing role compression to be ignored.
If someone told me I would end up using Yae more I would have laugh on release... Ngl, all Electro 5* are disappointments for me... And with Clorinde beta nerfs I feels she's not the one I expected...
Long story short, the smart ones just play Shinobu, Beidou and Fischl. That's good enough and arguably funnier.

Kuki is just way more convenient to use for hyperbloom, even if Ei is faster, I dont see the point in being like a few seconds faster but not having role compression. Fisch & Beidou & even Miko are good off field.

If all three kenkis crits on that raiden ult, they would have same clear time maybe 0.5s difference. C3 vs C0 is prolly the funny part here

@@Goran-eo5uc glad set performs the same as signature if you're not C2 and c6, besides his kazuha was c2 which is an extremely huge bonus and mona isn't really an option for arle, yes she's freaking amazing for nuke (2x for vape, ttds, instructor, debuff, more debuff with cons, crit with cons) but she's really not a constant applier meaning she'll lose a really really huge load of her damage without mona, not to mention arle had the best abyss blessing she could while raiden didn't benefit from it and raiden has shorter rotation resulting in naturally lower dpr with the same dps, not to mention jade is c4 which is another huge bonus, is that really what you call equal?
I don't think That's realistic all of them critting, not to mention the RNG and effort you need for it(yeah I know these runs both need rng but c'mon, don't you want some comfort?)

If wallenstein do some retries on raiden's run to crit all three, they should clear roughly the same time. If theres a coincidence that wallenstein's first run on arlecchino is all crit whilst raiden's first run didnt crit at all, would you look at this the same way? Even if it is unrealistic, its better to see it when all other factors are kept the same for better comparison
@@Goran-eo5uc I dont think the time would change, hes using jade spear R4 which is be comparable to her signature and she wacks the kenki's three times and ult, i dont think he can reduce it to two hits with the whimsey set. If wallen can reduce time taken on the setups, then arlecchino should be faster
Kinda reasonable since Raiden decreases ER requirements so she has really strong support options compared to the one trick Arlecchino. Fair Chino does the one trick better

I have C2, I mostly pulled for the QoL, because I don't really care for dmg upgrade. But in term of power C0 is perfectly fine. Just a bit frail maybe.
Also C2 feels different in term of setup, so I'm a bit lost. It's weird to be able to use Shime for instance.

There is no need to compare to units who have different elements with reactions. Electro doesn't have reaction damage as Vaporize. Raiden's it's only Hypercarry, while Arlecchino's got both hypercarry + vaporize reaction buff.
Pyro character have naturally less multipliers than non pyro characters because they have vape. Arle is just better than Raiden, even in non vape teams she deals more damage and clears faster.

Besides not to mention arle's not consistent with mona in a lot of situations so much that she's not an option if you don't RNG, just remove mona and she's doing much lower(debuff, vape, ttds, instructor set and more debuff and bonus crit as well if you have cons) not to mention that R4 jade and abyss blessing, yes abyss blessing it's specially designed for arle but doesn't benefit raiden since all her normal, plunge and charge are considered burst not normals and stuff, that's why her slashes work with emblem set but doesn't work with yunjin, beidou, xiangyung in her burst form (I don't still now how they work with xingque and yelan though but I'm happy they do)
I'm not trying to downlplay anything, arle is still too much powerful without these but I don't think there's such a thing as powercreep in genshin as they're spending whole patches in beta for upcoming characters to balance them, the real powercreep lies in team compositions, comfort of use and ease of rotations which I can say they're both very competitive at but arle's more fun tbh
All of that said aside they're very pleasant runs though, thank you ❤
Edit: I didn't notice but that kazuha was C2? You already know that's a big plus for arle, a really really big one

Not sure about that boss. I just tried it. I for sure have a worse build than yours and C2 but I still nuked the 3 kenkis with burst and 1 CA.
Dunno why you did so little damage to the main Kenki, they all died just as fast for me. Plus, mona is not very sustainable for perlonged fights which I guess is irrelevant in this case.
I mean my c3 Raiden one-shots them all. I don't think there's any boat in which I'd call that useless.

@@Oeshikitoif it was during the blessing, then they benefitted equally. The blessing gave 30% universal RES shred from triggering any pyro related reaction. The raiden team triggered overload when Bennett used Q while the kenkis were affected by electro, so raiden also got the extra 30% RES shred

C2-C3 Raiden back then had the power of a C6 character. Raiden's case is a peculiar one and yet there's no point in defending her.
She's strong but not very practical in many situations
But she is though. Its not like she is like the other archons who do all their utilities & dmg off field. Her skill is only useful if its a hyperbloom team, otherwise it does almost nothing. & Raiden does great damage even at c0. All Raiden teams (except hyperbloom) Have Raiden on field.

Well, it's unfortunately largely due to the difference between elements. Pyro has access to amplifying reactions that multiply its damage while electro doesn't (only additive damage from quicken/aggravate and extra damage if hyperbloom). Now recall the damage increase Raiden gets from C2/C3 vs C0. Isn't it equivalent to somewhere between a reverse and a forward amp multiplier? It does have the benefit of applying to all of her burst form damage, so no need to worry about ICDs and elemental aura setup and management (btw, HoYo sort of copied this over to Lyney and his passive). Anyways, this was the crux of it for me and why I always had the thought at the back of my mind that her early constellations were overhyped. It gave off (at least to me) the impression of a vape/melt enabler locked behind a paywall. If the effective damage increase was more than a forward amp then the hype may have been justified. Sadly, it wasn't.
Nevertheless, I wouldn't call it useless. It's still a damage increase that those who want it or already have it would welcome. But... It is what it is, I suppose...
The thing is, Arlecchino doesn't need reactions at all to do this damage.

Buffed Vape vs. buffed raw damage in single instance. It's a no contest. Even replace Arle with Hu Tao and they can get near similar results as long as Hu Tao's CA can line up perfectly against the Kenkis.
Well they have... different value, Raiden herself has role as energy supplier eventhough she could give good damage, while arlecchino is really really pure born as dps with decent self sustainbility
When was this? Last cycle didnt you need to do a pyro reaction to get the resistance shred from the blessing of the abyssal moon? you didnt have any pyro on raiden team.

@@MJAY552 Strongest DPS yeah but with Nahida, Yae and Cyno bring same value of DPS. If anything Yae and Cyno can bring more flexibility where you don't need strict rotation to do the real damage.

You can use Neuvillete, wriothesley,Arlechino,Navia, Alhaitham,Cyno,Nilou,wanderer and even upcoming Clorinde in random rotations while the Characters like Raiden,Lyney,Childe,Ayaka,xiao where if you make mistakes in the rotation your 50%-100% DPS is screwed.
@@Fam98KK She is not recommended in aggravate teams that's why Yae, Cyno and Fischl are recommended in that team comb, but outside of aggravate, she can be used in any team that need single or AoE electro application. So she has higher flexibility aswell.
My friend has almost all the characters and her raiden is C5R1. Still can't 36* the abyss lol. She says she regrets getting her.

I wouldn't say powercreep, more like there isn't an actual strong eletro dps since forever, they're either weak or supports, or cyno with too locked rotations
(Raiden ends up not being a pure DPS since she has the ER mechanic that no other character has, so it's more dps for the team and less ER substats or weapons)
cyno actually deals more damage than raiden, raiden has big frontload damage though

@@ThornsDroighorn not true, raidens frontload is backhanded since after you use her burst her dps isnt that great, cyno maintains consistently high dps throughout the entire rotation. neuvilette and xiao are examples of dps's who dont really have huge frontload but are still amazing
for example, my c4 cyno with c2 nahida was only 10 seconds below this persons raiden clear. keep in mind cyno doesnt have access to easy grouping of kenki like cyno does. i used cyno - yelan - nahida - baizhu. if i had used furina, i probably would of cleared faster than raiden. I also do not have cynos signature, which is a huge dps increase over homa
this was without 5* weapon supports by the way, if yelan were to of used elegy instead, nahida on her sig, and baizhu on ttds instead pamber, i would have cleared even faster.

I've always found Sara c6 to be a fairly useless character unless specifically used with Raiden, which is quite sad after all the effort I put in to get her. It must be said that Raiden is a unique character, even as a sub dps he is enormous, I will probably use my C2 together with Clorinde.

I cleared this with C0 Catch Raiden hyper with C5 Sara (Skyward harp) and C0 R0 Kazuha and sapwood bennett (my initial slash does 200k and yours does 600k
It's because you spent way too long on the setup,didn't pyro infuse Kazuha's burst (and missed a crit on Raiden because you severely lack crit rate
I mainly said this to adress people saying it's power creep
Unfortunately it's more like elements reaction privilege, pyro+hydro just powerful and more important raiden team dont have any reaction here hmm🤨

Well Raiden is not justna dps. She is the best battery of the game. Plus there is the dendro too.
I don't like using her in a hypercarry team.

Crit dmg on arlechinno :- more than 200%
And resistance against certain elements could be there too
Raiden requires far more investment into ER%. Raiden will always have less crit rate and crit DMG than anyone else because she needs so much ER%
Arle shouldn't ever need ER if you don't take damage so all the stats that originally would go into ER can go into Cr and Cdmg

@@sakshamv26 None of her cons give her crit DMG or crit rate for ER. However she does gain electro DMG bonus from ER through her A4 passive.

I think they're quite fair comparisons.
A Raiden with almost 300 ER and that crit ratio is really good. If you look at their artifacts they're also quite amazing. R1 signature, bis set etc...
Arle doesn't have her signature however she does have an r4 PJWS which might be about the same as her bis. She also doesn't have her bis artifact set but instead gladiators which is a little worse. Stats are about the same as Raiden's, relatively anyway.
Triple Kenki don't have any outstanding resistances to either electro or pyro do thats also out the window.
I think Arle having so much front loaded damage and high multipliers make her better than Raiden. Also this Arle is C0, the Raiden is C3
