  • The Phase One (Gorillaz Live) Tour is easily one of my favorite Gorillaz tours and is one of the tours that was documented the least, even then content from the tour still pops up every so years.
In this case we have another full audio recording!
This audio was actually posted by the owner of gorillazland.com back in 2019, but I haven't seen any discussion of it online so I decided to post it up here so it could gain a bit more traction. (Link to page down below)

I was at this show. I can still feel the massive waves of reverberating bass at the back of the upper level of the Paramount. Ridiculous, dangerous, levels of bass.

I was at this show also! I was front row and you aren’t kidding about the BASS! Haha it was an amazing show…I was about to turn 12 in July this was my first “real” concert.

I never thought I would hear this! Really goes to show that there are really endless amounts of Gorillaz content. The echo really emphasizes the size of the venue and adds eeriness to the recording.

for sure. Compared to other venues they performed at on this tour this venue is definitely one of the bigger ones

      @@JackLeavitt In this trade-list: voodoochild.free.fr/Voodoochild_CDRlist.txt
there is a mention of recording a concert from Electric Factory '02. Maybe this can help you somehow

Thank you for sharing this gem! If this recording came to light 18 years after, maybe there are more recordings from phase 1 somewhere, waiting to be shared. Listening to this for the first time is such a delightful experience.

I do hope that theres other phase 1 recordings out there, I believe they have soundboard recordings of most the shows from that era but are only for archival purposes sadly
