  • Today was tough and in this video I show how my brain stops acting rationally and I become overwhelmed by something so small. It's difficult to post this but I know I am not alone and many people will relate to this struggle. I managed to keep balanced today but some days I can't and the ability to copy just isn't there. Sadly this is true for so many others.

Thank you so much for being real with us and sharing your experience with a meltdown. It is really eye opening to hear even just a little bit about what an autistic person faces when they experience sensory overload. 😊

These things all add up to drain our energy and i'ts so hard to navigate our way through it. And we need to get back in to an enviroment where we can let it out without masking any longer. Aww i really felt for you watching this🙌🙋‍♂️

Thank you. It's a hard part of life and I didn't really want to share it but it's so important for others going through these moments to feel seen and not alone.

I hope you spent time in a cozy space after this ❤ Don’t be too hard on yourself- it was a perfect storm of expectations not met, emotion, and sensory issues- all of which you had no control over. Thanks for being real- it helps me to see I’m not alone.

EmJ this is such a brave video to make - thank you, thank you, thank you! This is really going to help non-autistics understand what we go through, and it'll help other autistic people to understand that we are not alone ❤

Thank you for this comment. It's really encouraging to know when we are vulnerable enough to share our stories it can really make a difference to someone else. ❤️
