Don’t be apathetic about this my friends. Apathy is what got us here.
Where games take longer, cost more, lack creativity, rely heavily on contractors (the talented men who left), launch with bugs, have predatory monetization, are filled with culture war ideations, and look like PS3 titles.

Why can't a game just be a game instead of someone's platform for making social or political statements? Same thing with movies. If some social or political statement doesn't fit the plot, or storyline, or a character's personality. Don't awkwardly shoehorn it in just to push a personal opinion. Just make a damn movie or game that makes sense and has a coherent theme. If the theme and plot of the game is about social and political issues, then Fine that at least fits the point of it. But if that's not what the game is about then it just ruins the the overall feel of the game. Its ok to leave things out when they don't fit the vision. I don't care how proud you are of your identity. Trying to make every game and movie some showcase of your pride is ruining the storylines and themes. Its ok for a game to not mention it if is isn't relevant. That isn't leaving you out of anything, that's just having a clear and coherent storyline that is about the storyline and not your personal views. If you want to make a game about your pride, that's fine that would be the theme of the game. But if your game is about aliens fighting mutants, your pride is irrelevant to that plot and forcing it in ruins the mood of the game. Sometimes a game should just be a game and it's ok to not shove pride ego strokes into everything. It's called coherent story telling.
But the big complaint i seem to be hearing from players is that they want more relevant game content and bug fixes. They want the game to have more features like multiplayer, online co-op, more campaign content, and for the game to actually work rather than being a glitchy buggy mess. But instead of fixing the incomplete and broken game. You give them pride skins. What is the point in that when the game itself lacks content and crashes all the time? What do you think people are doing? Hanging around in the lobby looking at their skins instead of actually playing the game? If you want all kinds of Identity based skins, fine. But at least make sure that you have a complete and functional game first. All those skins don't help bring in more players when the game itself is garbage.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that even people in the community aren't going to play a dumpster fire game just because it has some pride references. I would bet money that even they want a fun, complete, working game more than a bunch of pride skins. Even they don't want to play a trash game just because it has rainbow armor in it.

@@IdentityCrisis1581 agree 💯. I just want his net code that makes online play better. Tied of these busted servers and terrible matchmaking. With the billions some of these companies make you would think they would invest into making better games.

Some say, the investors (black rock, vanguard etc) deliberately promote the Woke to crash the stock value of companies and acquire cheap stock. Hence, growing their share in the company.
