@@mostafaa_dz I would say again it is too harsh - there's way better options now. Use a BHA exfoliator (the kind that doesn't have abrasive chunks in it but still does the job) Paula's Choice makes a good one. Of course it will cost more than St Ives but your face is worth it!
I didn’t wash my face at all as a teenager, wasn’t the much better option, believe me. Especially when I started using makeup and never ever took my makeup off at night. Unfortunately, I realized far too late that this was bad on my skin because I never had actual acne or pimples. But now, as an adult, I have enlarged pores on and around my nose because of that. Because I never washed or cleansed my t-zone or even took that powder foundation off.💀 No one taught us. There weren’t beauty influencers around yet lol.
Oh my God is this what makes enlarged pores? I never really washed off make up either, to me, it's just too messy, I wash my face in the morning in my shower. But I do have larger pores.
@@juanitau2012 Yup. That’s what multiple dermatologist have told me over the years since I never had any issues with acne or blackheads…🥲 It’s so sad thinking about the fact that this could’ve totally been prevented if someone would’ve told me to take my makeup off as a teenager. The thing is, my mom rarely used makeup and if she did, she never seemed to cleanse or wash her face either.😭 Nobody taught me and we didn’t even have this stuff at home.
Same here! Except for me it happened when I was in my mid 20s and leaving zinc sunscreen AND makeup on my face overnight, smh. I think the heaviness of the zinc was the main culprit and it happened within just a year or two. Just an FYI, they say microneedling will help regenerate the skin and shrink enlarged pores. It also helps with acne scars and stretch marks if you use the longer needles and do it at consistent intervals for several months. I haven't been brave enough to try it, but I have read about the science behind it and I have seen a lot of "before and after" videos where it actually made a difference. Leaving this comment in case it helps one of us who failed to realize the importance of removing our skin-clogging products when we were teens/young adults 🥰

@@edits4u23 its marketed as a facial scrub/ exfoliator. But it has crushed walnuts which tore peoples skin up bc its so abrasive and harsh
@@gemmagemma-wx2bs ohhh ok! Ty for explaining
STOP I STARTED USING IT IS IT REALLY THAT BAD, SHOULD I STOP?!
@@mostafaa_dz I would say again it is too harsh - there's way better options now. Use a BHA exfoliator (the kind that doesn't have abrasive chunks in it but still does the job) Paula's Choice makes a good one. Of course it will cost more than St Ives but your face is worth it!
I’m so early Ariana still has tears left to cry 😂
My cousin and I used to put homemade rakija on our pimples and blemishes, cause it was supposed to help💀
I died laughing when she snatched the tweezers, and said "That's Enough". Lmao!! 😅
“You know it’s working when it burns” 😂😭
I didn’t wash my face at all as a teenager, wasn’t the much better option, believe me. Especially when I started using makeup and never ever took my makeup off at night. Unfortunately, I realized far too late that this was bad on my skin because I never had actual acne or pimples. But now, as an adult, I have enlarged pores on and around my nose because of that. Because I never washed or cleansed my t-zone or even took that powder foundation off.💀 No one taught us. There weren’t beauty influencers around yet lol.
This is me!!!
@@ultravioletgaia 😭😭
Oh girl, I feel this in my soul. The only thing we can do is not let the cycle continue 😂
The way two perfectly formed tears just rolled down her cheeks 😂
The tear at the end says it all...
the side eyes she gave to her teenage self too 🤣
I teared up watching this.
Oh our poor skin.
I feel my skin burning yet today.
I love how she still leaves dramatically 😭💀
I'm so glad my grandmother would buy me Oil of Olay cleanser and moisturiser when I was a teen, my mother would *NEVER* . It definitely helped and I didn't suffer from much more than the occasional pimple, perfectly normal.
ok no bc why are there tears in my eyes
Omg the tweezers. 😂😂
Whats up with that. I dont get it lol
Why would you call out my junior high skincare routine like that? 😭
Mine was, St Ives face scrub, noxzema there was this one my mom has that was extra strength, those dan oxy acne pads, and an ungodly amount of witch hazel. I never moisturized either 😭
the way shivers went down my spine when she pulled out the rubbing alcohol
Her crying got me on the floor are you going to moistures 😭
So true!
I swear to god I’ve got to be the luckiest teenager to have mostly acne free skin and I really only have to wash it daily with a few pimples and I am so grateful because I’ve seen the struggles people go through
As a fellow millennial, I perfectly understand your pain 🥲
When I saw her rubbing that so aggresively I thought: GIRL, WHAT ARE YOU DOINGGG
i love how je te laisserai des mots is just playing in the background
That's what I do 💀 Expect the alcohol part
All those toners and wipes with alcohol in them 😭 "you know it's working when it burns"
My mom HAMMERED skincare into my head since i was like 9. I was using antiaging products from the start 😂 i thank her every chance i get
The eyebrows😂 so accurate, I wish I never touched them back then😭
You can't stop it, its a canon event 😔
Im glad my mom is the best in the world❤
that's why teenage guidance matters 😥
I was teary eyed watching this😢😢😢
I screamed when you pulled out the RUBBING ALCOHOL 😭
Those tears are real
Yes, the burn! Especially in the creases around your nose!😖 And then I wondered why my makeup would never stick to my dry AF skin!
Girl props to your hair for surving this long and your skin too!
There are times I wish I'd been more into hair and makeup as a teen 😢- these types of videos make me grateful I came to it late, safely passed this. Ouch ouch ouch.
Omg the dramatic music in the background is sending me 😂😂😂
I used to use those pad thingies and my mom literally told me that the burning means it’s working 😭
The flashbacks i get watching these 😂
The rubbing alcohol 😭😭😭
I thought it was just me 😂
It was the moisturise for me 😂😂
