- In this video I will show you how I make beautiful and realistic super easy crepe paper roses. Roses are a staple flower to learn when starting out making crepe paper flowers, and there aren't that many tutorials to show you how to make them realistic as well! I hope you enjoy this online class and find it easy. In this video I use double sided extra fine crepe paper - called crepe paper doublette. You can get this in many places such as shopliagriffith.com/product-c.... You can also make your own by laminating two pieces of fine crepe paper together, though this is quite difficult! Please feel free to ask questions if you need help - I know how hard it is being a beginner!
This tutorial comes with full written instructions as well as a petal template you can download. You can download the full instructions for free from my google drive here!

Thanks Jenny.
This was amazing! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loved this tutorial, such a great way to make roses that look incredibly realistic. Did you color your doublette paper, or did you use 2 different colors of doublette?
Hi Karen. I used double sided doublette that has different colours in each side, sorry for the delay in getting back to you
Best ever rose tutorial I have seen so far 😍 exactly what I needed to see 😁 amazing rose, thank you for the video... I have a question, is doublette crepe paper same as the 140g crepe paper?
Thanks, that means a lot! Doublette is two pieces of 60g fine crepe paper fused together. 140g will be slightly heavier as a result. However, I find even though 60g +60g = 120g technically, that the glue involved in sticking the two pieces together means you have a stronger piece of paper, with less texture. So in this case, I prefer doublette. It has a great texture really suitable for roses.
