Best Thailand video I've seen, and I'm only 30 minutes into it. I had to press pause, just to praise you for all the work you put into making this video possible. I'm truly impressed! Thank you so much... now back to the video.
Woah! This is such an incredibly nice comment and we appreciate it so much!! 😊 honestly comments like this are so motivating! Enjoy the rest of the video 😊
What an amazing video. I lived in Thailand for about two years 12 years ago and have been back several times since. My wife and I are currently suffering from Thailand nostalgia after watching your video. Your editing style is fantastic and I love how you keep the focus on your destination, rather than "you" (like so many other travel vloggers..). Great to see you're enjoying your trip and we have added a few of your recommendations to our future trip plans. New sub here for sure 👍🏼👍🏼
Oh wow thanks so much! You lived in Thailand and we added a place for you to see next time!? That makes us feel so accomplished 😆thanks so much for your comment!
Gosh, it's such great Thailand vlog even though I am Thai and live in suburb of BKK and I have been so many places but it"s still amazing to watch your video. I enjoy it so much. You have such a great presentation with great pictures. Thank you😅❤
We went to Sukhothai midweek in August at about 10 am and there was hardly anyone there and we had most temples to ourselves. Amazing place would definitely recommend
Happy to see you come back to Thailand ,we can see you happy with visiting many places in the city, take care and happy every day here if you are in Bankgok please try to vistit Benjakitti public park is nice park in the night and day.🌹🌻🌷🌴
As an aussie living in Ching Mai It's refreshing to see you respecting the Thai cultural dress codes in the temples. It means a lot to the Thai people.
U didn't mess up in pai... I was there with minivan, bike, car like 12times 😂😂😂 next time gonna be even better ❤im driving motorbike for 8years,try yamaha nmax with ABS and avoid fear haha. Chiangmai and chiangrai gonna be Always my second home(lived there for 3,5years)
Love it! I also love the Sukhothai Historical Park. I loveeee Sukhothai noodle but unfortunately the one that you had was not Sukhothai noodle😅. You could find it elsewhere, there’re many in Bangkok too❤.
6:06 ummm pad Thai wasn’t to reduce the need for rice. The noodles are rice noodles!!! Chat GPT isn’t right a lot The popularization of the noodle dish, as it turns out, was but one of several measures taken by Thai authorities in the 1930s and 1940s to both westernize and modernize the country. The others, as the New York Times noted over the weekend, included changing the country’s name from Siam to Thailand, banning local languages and dialects from the nation’s schools, and the promotion of the word “sawasdee,” as a means of greeting. “Part of Phibun’s nation-building strategy was to develop ‘Thai-ness’ and impose a ‘Thai Great Tradition’ to demonstrate the strength and unity of the Thai nation,” Penny Van Esterik wrote in her book Materializing Thailand.
Hey, we got this from a few different blog posts - all mention that during WWII Thailand suffered a rice shortage due to the war/floods. So during that period it is said that the government sought to reduce rice consumption and promote noodles!
@@JordanandEmily It typically takes about 1 cup of uncooked rice to produce approximately 1 cup of rice flour. However, the weight of the rice may vary slightly depending on the type
