Monster Bash was the most engaging and satisfying table I played tonight. I went to this pinball museum in Oregon and played 17 machines and this one was one of the most fun I played.
Fun trick - if you successfully get all the instruments and start "Monsters Of Rock" without having first started "Monster Bash," you get a 50 million "rock before bash" bonus. Far harder than the typical way of starting bash with modes running to get the instruments during wiz mode!
i love your website, i watched the walkthrough for arabian nights, even though i already knew it, and i think you completed the story twice, 1 of those on the second ball alone almost, i gotta say, now i need help for monster bash. and you are the dude, you have some skill
I find myself watching/ catching them with my eyes right above their heads, scanning up about 4-6”, then follow the faster ball down first while watching for the others peripherally.
I'd say that if you manage to not get Frank's Organ the first go round, it becomes ball busting hard to get, as the target takes 12 shots to lower instead of six, following the same logic as AFM and MM. Even Drac's is kinder to get even after getting doubled, from 4 hits to 7.
I've been playing it in Pinball FX with the tournament setting on, and have found it very difficult to get consistency out of it. Do you know what the physics differences are between the real life table and the FX version? I've been wondering a lot about that, never played the actual machine.
@@crawlingamongthestars3736 Honestly, it can be different between actual machines! There is a Monster Bash machine about 10 minutes from my work that I have tried a few times. It constantly air balls while hitting Frank (leading to relentless drains), it is tough to get Bride and it is much harder to catch than another one I played about 6 months prior. VPX is a bit more accurate than FX, but you will be humbled relying on the muscle memory you develop from virtual pinball compared to the real thing.
