Nice - Dropping the left drop targets lights up a alternating 5K target on the right side (cool purple ) that doubles the advance scoring for that ball in play ..i think its worth going for imho..we've missed Bowens vids !
Most EMs have a "basic", yet very challenging layout as compared to the non-EM machines that followed starting at the end of the 70s. This is one of the few EMs that actually has quite a bit going on to shoot for in its table design.
Thank you for the fantastic tutorial! Centigrade 37 is one of my favourite EM pinball machines and I think I will play it much better now after seeing this. I am very happy to own the Toyshock digital pinball at home, which includes this table (I don't have the room or budget for real pinball machines at home at the moment).
It's a 3/4-scale replica of Gottlieb's Haunted House, a "vpin" with 12 licensed games built into it, made by the company Toyshock. It's funny, in my original comment I mentioned I didn't have the room or budget for a real pinball machine... a year later I now have a brand new Stern Jurassic Park home Pin in my living room, after saving up all year and getting rid of a couch!
@@AmigaCammy cool. I'm blind but pinball was one of those games I wish I could play at an arcade. Do you know where you got that replica from Toyshock?
On the machine I played in 1978, you could pound the left corner with your fist, and It would raise the temperature, if the temperature is already to the top (special lit )you would get a free game. We did it all the time.
Woooo! Nice to see a new video. I'm still looking for this one myself. I said to myself...if I could have one EM in my collection what would it be....easy answer. Anyone else have an issue with not enough space?
Love this classic, I play it pretty much on Pinball Arcade, always fun to play, love the artwork and the backglass, but yeah the strategy I use is almost the same as Bowen shows here, but I also like to complete the drop targets, didn't know it isn't that great to score like you said, but it's fun:)
Great video as always Mr. Bowen. Thank you, I can do the tap passes but need to master those alley passes! 🤔. One thing you didn't go over (I know you are going for points so not an issue perse) is the double advance alternating green and pink targets? We have a house rule that the thermometer is worth 100k, so it incentivizes going for special more. But also a key strategy to not reset the drops, as you can carry over the double advance. Kind of love that feature about this game. Thanks again for the great videos.
I love this game it has a great playfield and I'm a proud owner. I am after advice on how to restore the paint on the backboard? Mine is flaking apart and I need someone highly skilled to restore it. Can anyone help?
Truly the voice that we all need in these trying times. Thank you.
Thank god - PAPA is back. I've been miserable for 7 months now. Let's go ! And thank you so much guys.
Glad to see that PAPA is back in action. Thank you.
The temperature check was hilarious. Nice to see a new vid after so long. Helps me learn more games.

Instead of 5,000 points on every lit white rollover you get 10,000 points. Points quickly add up once you light the Double Bonus feature.
Yes Bowen!!
THANK GOD! Thanks Bowen and the PAPA Team!
I haven't even played this machine but I'm so excited to see papa making videos again.

Enfin de retour ! Après 6 mois
I have a Centigrade 37 in my collection and love its game play. Thanks for sharing this great video!
That's awesome! Centigrade 37 is my favorite pinball table 😊
Wow, we found the one centigrade 37 fan!
Quite a simple game but it looks fun for those older era games
Good to see you back.
if I could only have one EM in my collection...awesome playfield and backglass artwork, love it!

What's that digital pinball thing you mentioned?

Great to see ya, Bowen
And here I thought PAPA was dead. Glad to see it hasn't been claimed by the Rona.

That EM Pinball Cabinet looks amazing.
Thank You!!! Needed a good Bowen tutorial no matter what game. :)
Sending lots of love your way Papa Pinball

Great rundown. Normally dislike EMs but now I need to track this one down.
I’d never thought of racking up points this way! Cool video. Time to practice up on the “ally pass”!
Yeah! We need this. Thank you:)

There are lovely rules about the thermometer! Unfortunately they are meaningless when it comes to playing for score, but I like your house rule!
Welcome back!! Hope to see you do some tutorials on the new Guns&Roses game
You have to be a Patreon backer to make that decision! Bowen has said that those decisions are made by Patreon backers.
New PB gotta love it ha.
if they had 100,000 on the points would that have made the production costs to high so they left it at 10,000 and added a light ?
What is the playfield angle being used here?
Whoaaaa you're back?
