Man this show was amazing like the nest looks awesome the ending with carol like I loved all of it can’t wait for season 2 also Merle joining the army makes sense because of his grandpa and Daryl dad name is Will after Daryl grandpa.
My favorite episode so far..The fight, the beautiful scenery of France, Normundy, the Nest, and Cordron. I swear he is a throwback to Merle Dixon. He was protecting his younger brother, and as Merle would do, he was hell bent on getting to whoever he thought killed his brother. And, he redeemed himself by killing his own men, not killing Daryl & friends, and giving them info to get to the Nest. And not telling Genet. We never got more of redeemed Merle, but I hope we get alot more Codrone. Glad you both enjoyed this season. I can't wait for season 2!
Great finale, guys or shd I say cliffhanger? As Trin knows Mont St. Michel is an old monastery and village surrounded by water at high tide. I hear there's a walking bridge to it now so it can be visited even at high tide. It's featured in many films such as the Scarlet Pimpernel. At bit of a twist at the end for Daryl to turn back. And that Carol scene, golden. But I guess the turn back was needed to have future seasons. Season 2 starts on AMC and AMC+ on Sept 29. Go google the season 2 trailer. See ya there. We'll both be watching together for the first time! In the meantime, onto The Ones Who Live.👍
Now do you understand why people (including me) love Isabelle soo much !?. She quickly got in my top 5 of favorite Walking Dead characters !!. Amazing surprise to have Carol (Melissa McBride) huh guys ;) ??.
Great series and happy Ive walked where Daryl has in Normandy. Only thing that annoys me is that it’s a long walk from Mon St Michel to the D day beaches. Where he arrives at is the Utah beach area, it was filmed there. Where it annoys is when he finds the US cemetery which is actually above Omaha Beach, and it’s flat as a pancake and has 9400 graves, it would be overgrown of course but not undulating ground, and the chances of just stumbling upon his grandfather’s grave is amazing miracle, but I get it for the entertainment factor. I go every year for the anniversary (my dad was a D day paratrooper). I’ve also jumped over Mon st Michel too, awesome to see it from a parachute 😊
Sadly the hype for Fear on youtube is not there anymore, people dropped from watching it, so it's really not motivating for us to keep editing it for youtube, we are still watching it tho, just started season 8 (2 epiosdes in) but it will stay Patreon exclusive.
So.. the first season, he is looking for Rick. Second season, Carol is looking for him. In the middle of the apocalypse, they look for each other across continents. Creative writing 👋👋 Btw copying Gladiator, where after a fight in which he raises his hand to the audience in victory then throw a head like Maximus his sword it was so predictable that I am ashamed watching this cash grab boring spin of.. the story about the kid who followed him all over France to Omaha beach and didn't know how to wipe his ass until yesterday is a special story that should be forgotten as soon as possible 🤣
I hope they keep the level of cinematography and artistry going into season 2. This show was so beautiful to look at.
Oh i can't wait for the ones who live.😂

2nd time Daryl got put into a walker ring for entertainment. Like back with the governor with Meryl
Daryl did make a comment earlier about his dad and granddad if I recall.
