I personally would have liked a more complete ending with FL and General Ye getting married, there's obviously attraction and mutual respect there and his sister and FL are good friends so that's where it's headed in my opinion. Maybe they will all go back to Li and leave the Kingdom of Chu forever. Love how supportive FL's brother is and that she's got a loving family to support her in future.

We American ladies set down and watched this awesome made film from start to finish. Very rare for us. We liked all the actors in this one. It was exciting, romantic and a little crazy. These male leads always accusing their wife wrongly. Doesn't that say something about the story if it's a repetitive theme... as in it's a bad relationship and she would have done better to leave and marry someone in her own city.
The only good thing is she did not go back to scum and he had to give up his title... not enough compensation for the abuse but at least not another return to the abuser drama...her brother was great in he never gave the abuser any respect or room to wiggle and pointed out saying sorry is not always enough for something minor like bumping into someone sure; abusing them, no.
Although props to the fl for not getting back with ml, she finally wised up; but she wouldn't have reached to that extent of bullying/abuse if only she's not too darn weak and dumb...and so is drama. So dumb! It's so frustrating to watch. Such a waste of time!
Don't bother watching this drama. It's awful in every way: atrocious acting by all, bad casting, lousy locations, bad costumes, and unattractive actors. There are better productions with the same story line that are 100x better than this. Don't waste your time.
