Parents have been using their kids for money for ages. I only have to think of those horrible child pagents they have in America. Its never for the kids benefit, its for the Mom to relieve their glory years. All social media has done is made it easier for those kinds of parents(if you can even call them that) to capitalise on making the Interverse hate their kids and get money from it. This is why society shouldn't force people to be parents. Some should NEVER have been allowed near kids, let alone their own.

i think one of the worst parts about it is that children her age do not control what they get to eat. maybe she gets to choose snacks but a majority of the time it is the parents who decides what is going to be eaten. i am sure literally everyone has experienced being forced to eat something you hated as a child because that is what your parent made for dinner. or even having your parent pack your lunch bag and opening it at school just to be disappointed. her mother is actively allowing this. her mother is literally okay with people commenting some of the meanest things you can say about someone’s body about HER CHILD. and it’s just going to worsen over time because children who grow up with unhealthy food habits or an unhealthy relationship with food are most likely going to grow up and continue that behavior. i would hate to know that this little girl blames and hates herself for something her parents are responsible for
Well it's a mix of the parent and the other children.
Idk if being allowed to eat a ton of processed food and being allowed to be addicted to sugar when it's like a drug to a child is the cause of body dysmorphia and eating disorders. It would be a huge stretch to even say there's a correlation, much less causation.
Health isn't the problem and doesn't cause body issues. Social issues cause them. Spending time on social media when it's been studied that people who do spend hours each day on social media have worse mental health outcomes cause them. Having mental illness period causes them. Let's not just have logic that doesn't track bc it goes along with some body positive vitriol where the world dictates how a person feels about themselves, when allowing that alone is the cause and can only be fixed by the parent and the person themselves as an adult and teen.

Agreed! I'm actually a Christian, but I don't attend church. I am around the age of 50 and I dress very alt/goth, with tons of tattoos and piercings. But I was so uncomfortable in church settings because of the judgmental looks, stares, and disapproving comments I was always getting. It's truly shameful and ridiculous, not to mention hypocritical.

I pitched a fit ONE time in a supermarket as a kid(might have been 3 or 4). Never set foot in one again til I was in my teens. Mom would leave me home with the Grandparent as punishment for embaressing her in public but then this was the mid 70s, the world was different then.
The part where she's saying her daughter is using her debit card to order things on the internet. She could very easily stop that pretty much any banking app will let you turn on the feature that makes you have to manually approve purchases. She's absolutely lying about all of this.

Had a mother that closely resembles that of amelias, telling not only me but near everyone around me how awful of a child i was, when i really didnt deserve it. Not only was the embarrassment horrible but even now, a bit later in life the mental issues that stem from it are insane, you genuinly questuon wether or not you are a good person because growing up being told that you arent constantly you tend to believe it cause why would they lie? Even now I need to try and convince myself nearly everyday that i am genuinely a good person trying my best and deal with the guilt of actions that i didnt do.
I am in the same boat. Keep on keeping on, it will get better the more we push past the programming from our childhood. We deserve healing.
As someone with a mother just like this all I can say is "all children deserve a parent but not all parents deserve children"

@@Twinkatron7000 Germany, I´m not that well educated on what this law specifcally says, but if you film your child or even any other child (though that´s a different law) and then post it to the internet it´s not only an invasion of their privacy (since a young child can´t really consent to it properly) but is also considered as child labore if it´s done more frequent (which is obv. illegal here).Hope this helps

Love and patience, understanding and security are what children need to thrive. This mother doesn't deserve to have kids.
They really need to analyze the full psychological background to how these mothers manipulate their children just to embarrass them online. It should be like a sub type of munchousen by proxy. Even if they were legit, people shouldn't post their kid's issues on the internet. ESPECIALLY in a way where people can see your kid and what they look like. It can ruin their life.
Kids who grew up with a camera shoved in their face almost 24/7 are gonna develop trauma the likes of which no one has seen before. Hundreds of therapist will have to come together to make new disorders and treatments to help these kids.

Like even if this WAS real you wouldn't put that on social media which is clue number one right there. Like someone else said it would be the mom's fault if it was real. That behavior would've came from somewhere. Not to mention you would actually STOP her from doing these things. Why does she have access to your purse when you know she's taking your money?? Why is she being allowed out of sight with the electronics and at the stores?? WHO taught her how to USE a card?? I feel so bad for that kid. She's going to see all these awful comments one day, if she hasn't all ready. As if the online bullying isn't bad enough, she will likely be bullied in person over this too. This child might even be physically harmed over this. People are crazy, and content creators are doxed all the time. The way this mother has built up hate for this little girl will make the risk of her being physically harmed even higher.
Chubby kids, especially little girls, already get enough horrible bullying in school to begin with. This added on top of it is going to be a social death sentence for her. Unless her mom ends up homeschooling her, trapping her in the isolating tik tok content farm house.

Kids are so cruel, online and in person. As a middle schooler I can just say this as a fact.

As someone who grew up with a sibling who ACTUALLY acted horribly, my mother would never put his behavior on the internet. She has only ever recorded his tantrums once so she could show it to a doctor when we were trying to get him help.

Even if these videos weren’t fake (which they obviously are) there is absolutely no reason for her to post these videos to embarrass and shame the daughter, if she claims that her purpose for these videos is to document Emilia’s bad behavior then there is no reason why it should ever be made public…

I cannot imagine what it feels like to be constantly posted online to be berated and humiliated by millions of strangers by my OWN mother. Dr Phil actually is aware of the rage bait/attention trolls who go on his show and he plays along. There was a comedian who went on the show a few years ago who "thought he was Batman" and he 100% pretended it was serious.
One thing weird about the piano video is the fact that Amelia constantly glances over at her mom, silently asking if it's okay and she's not actually mad at her. Because when you're a kid (especially one as young as her) you look up to your parents to tell you what to do and how to act.

It really is horrible how so many moms emotionally abuse and exploit their children for views, and then play the victim and get ever so confused when their child/children block them out of their lives and hate them forever. It truly is just a sick and twisted reality that so many people sympathize when in reality, the red light is on the wrong person.
I think it shows the type of person the mother is to use her child as a means to make money and seek clout on tiktok, especially tiktok of all places. Family channels and the works will always use their child to get money. It's a sad world we live in when people body shame a child and fall for all of this bs with the mother. I have a hard time giving her that title. Just because you have a baby, doesn't mean you're mom. You earn that title. This reminds me of that family that pulled a "prank" on their children and screamed at them for something they didn't do, the kids were crying then the parents started laughing.

TLDR: my mom and former stepdad would record dogfight style videos of 8 year old me and talk about me to their friends when i lashed out over abuse
When i was 8 my mom started dating this guy who immediately moved in (and later married her) and was around for about 7 or 8 years, that is half of my life.
This guy would put me and my brother or mom against eachother like dogs, and when i lashed out at my mom (which i find extremely fair considering the abuse i endured) he would post about it, this was minimal- to facebook where his friends could see it and they would talk sbout it, but him and my mother would talk about me to real people around us like i was a monster, that was quite literally something they would call me, an unlovable monster, or disgrace. That being said while they didnt profit off of this, the dogfight-style recordings of my childhood may still be floating around somewhere
I know you don’t want any kids at all, but the way you got so angry over this horrible mother shows just how much better you would be as a mom 😭
