He didnt vacuum from the backside... The side that was facing down before he pulled off the filter material is the side that faces out and catches the dust. He clearly flipped it over before he vacuumed.
That’s because they’re on the same platform with the same drivetrain. You got the rav4 with expensive lipstick which is great for reliability and using parts for rav4s to repair it

I have a Rav4 Prime for some reason the screw keeps on turning and won't unscrew. It feels like it's stripped which is impossible cause I just try to unscrew it for the first time.
Especially since the really fine dust probably isn’t removed by vacuuming and is still reducing air flow somewhat. The battery is horrendously expensive so everything that extends its life is very important.

Don’t vacuum the filter on the backside like he did. That drives the dirt deeper into the filter

You can shake it, you will see dust come off , it did for me anyways

He vacuumed both sides of the filter. He even says “vacuum both sides”.
Lol compressed air is the best way to get dirt and dust out

What mileage is it recommended to clean?
Just depends how dirty the inside of your car gets! I would check it yearly!
Pretty sure it's 10,000 unless you do a lot of idling and short distance driving, then it's 5,000
Check the periodic maintenance section of your owners manual so you can be exact.
If the warning light is on do you need to reset the light. (2021 rav4 prime)

Try not to apply a lot of pressure on the screw when you unscrew it. It should come out.

I believe it is designed this way. If you can't unscrew it, simply pull the cover off together with the screw.
Guys you just have to use some common sense with common tools and a little bit of force to pry the screw off...
