I have this same plant for over 11 years now. And it's huge! I've gotten so many plants by propagation from it that I lose count. I kept 2, and others were given away. They are easy to grow. 👍🍃
Probably the best video I’ve seen on philodendrons! This is the first time I’ve propagated any plant, and this gave a lot more information on how to do it than any other video that I’ve seen
I know this is about plants but wanted to say I appreciate how you don’t wear makeup (or much if any). I sometimes feel I should always make sure I put on makeup because of what I see online so it’s nice when someone doesn’t follow that trend/way of life. Makeup has never been that important to me and I really don’t think it ever will. Beautiful plants! Thank you for the tips.
This tho!! I’ve been researching so much and this one video had tons of information none of the others had, all complied into one! Thank you so much! Would love to see more and more! Lol
Hello, can I take 3 or 4 cuttings into water to propagate or will the roots get too tangled ? Also, how long after a root grows into the water should it be put in soil ?
My new puppy accidentally clipped about 6 inches of the tip of my healthy heart philodendron and I’m so glad I found this informative video to try and propagate 🤞🏽🤞🏽 Thank you so much!

That’s amazing! I look forward to having a plant for that long. ❤️❤️❤️
That’s so cool! Can’t imagine how big and happy it is
I never thought of the Bobby pin trick to secure new nodes in the pot, great tip!! 👍🏻

You can propagate nodes without leaves! It can take a little longer, but they do really well.
I’ve seen people prop those in moss before now that you mention it! Wasn’t sure if they were classed as “propagations” but so good to know! Thanks!
I love how you clearly and easy you explained both methods. Thanks for sharing.
I LOVE propagating philodendrons 🤗
Same!
I decided to propagate my philo yesterday so this is literally perfecttt
Yay! Hope it goes well for you

Calling from India. Why do the leaves come out small and light green?
It's fall now . Can I cut pieces now and place in water?
I just got a beautiful philodendron heart
Thanks for the tips. Mine is kind of skinny and looking weak. Do you suggest any fertilizer?
i’m trying it today! 🤞 i’ll let you know if it works! thanks
My favorite thing to do is to propagate🤗
Mine is super leggy. How far back is ok to prune?
What food do these need?
How often do you change the water ?
Great video. I'm also curious about your audio equipment shown in this video. Cool. What brand and how do you like it?
Thanks! I just use a Rhode microphone that I attach to my camera
@@thepetiteplant Thanks. Actually I meant your record player, amp, and speaker. ;)
I don't have any of those, sorry!
