I had one of the fastest Bigfoot Goped…28cc bigbore kit with 1mm stroked cranked with stuffers , juice box..And it had a 1inch drive with lock down kit…
70kph ..I had shocks on the front with motor bike style front tyre…I rode it as a vehicle for a few years until the highway patrol hated me …

I totally blame Benny for taking the gearbox to the gearbox guys, I also would do the very same - there is far too much wizardry and magic that occurs in there for my tiny smooth brain to understand enough to risk the worst case cost. There be dragons.

There actually are efi twostrokes, the evinrude etec outboards are a nice example with direct injection oil/fuel.

2 stroke EFI - in 2018 KTM changed from carb on their 250/300EXC to an injection system and met the relevant motorbike EURO emissions standard somehow
KTM amongst others have established EFI 2 strokes. it has established the resurgence of 2 Stroke as production bike, and many are happy.
I have a Zendoah brushcutter. The best small motor I've ever had.
Put a Yamaha KT 100cc Kart motor on a scooter frame once. Wouldn't recommend unless you want to visit the hospital.

Ktm have fuel injected 2 strokes. They started as transfer port injected but now the new ones are throttle body injected. Pretty cool stuff

Efi 2 strokes yes. In the Uk we had 2004 Aprilia sr50 scooter which was efi it also had a supercharger too. Not sure if that was required to run or just some fancy emissions control system though.
It was fuel injected but not supercharged. Great scooters though! I had a 2009 Derbi GPR 50 (was the same as the Aprilia RS50) throughout school and college
@@feedingfrenzy123 they had a crank driven compressor. I just had to wiki it to make sure it's kind of a crude supercharger but forced induction to run properly just like the 2 stroke detroit diesels have a blower to run properly but still classes as na.

I had a similar scoot to that one except one had a aluminium plate where you stand and a Stihl chainsaw motor on the back, the highest speed I got it to was 75kmh on a straight downhill and I would never try that shit again 😂

Auto-stop on my Ridgid dakdak (same manufacturer as Ryobi) does limit the torque even though it still sounds like it's impacting. I typically only use the feature on wheel nuts and it leaves them torqued way below 80ft-lb/100Nm.

You need to find a "Go-Quad". 👌
Smash the pivot pin out of the Upright and remove the bars. There is a hex bolt in the pice that stays with the scooter. From there it is the same as a Pedal bike

As someone who's rebuilt autos and manuals, I won't do it anymore unless it's for myself even then I'd rather not. Odds are there are few people in my city that'd do a Getrag 282 anyway. Don't fault you one bit.

To my understanding more or less duration is how wide the tip of the cam lobe is hence duration and lift is just how high up the lobe goes to lift the pushrod opening the valve gian that’s how my simple mind works anyways lol

EFI does exist in 2-strokes. I believe KTM just came out with a new one recently that has great performance AND is more economical.
with EFI you can chose a how much fuel you want and it can be seperate from the amount of oil, no need to ruin your octane rating by using premix. kind of a shame fuel injection wasnt more common in 2-strokes, maybe if countries want to allow internal combustion engines but ban fossil fuels for vehicles then we will see a new generation of 2-strokes with biofuel and bio lubricants.

Yeah there are fuel-injected two strokes, not many of them though, and I don't think I've ever seen a really tiny one (I know of 125cc, 250cc, and 300 cc FI two stroke dirtbikes and that's it.)
Stihl 500i is efi. Would be a great swap for the scooter.

For anyone contemplating the gearbox input shaft mod - It's more than a couple of hundred dollars - more like over $800 according to Frank. Don't be fooled by the youtube dollars in this video. I fell for a couple of hundred dollars and now there is an unproven gearbox that will owe close to 2K all done and dusted - not a cheap alternative by any means.
Frank did charge me a few hundred dollars, He only did the labor, this was pretty clear as I already had the parts in the earlier videos. You could also stay with the stock input shaft if you’re handy with a parts catalogue as others have done with the AR5. I only changed the input shaft as I wanted to use a specific clutch kit. No fooling here, you could also save 3-400 by buying a used input shaft instead of oem Toyota new.
@@BennysCustomWorks I have the parts too! His price to me was labor only as well. Toyota dont have shaft available any more (response my local toyota)
@@mykelkoblenz690 I got my input shaft from overseas but it was a new Toyota part. I can’t really comment on behalf of anyone else as to their pricing however.
