Interesting to see what's available. I've usually gone for base model cars, and see nothing to deter me from going that route this time.
I have a LT base coming in on Nov 11 . Black on black.
Well, I just got the 2RS and I’m loving it so far.
I value a good audio system. Is there a difference between the LT and RS? Can the audio system be upgraded?
Bummer (but pretty typical) that you have to get bigger wheels to get ventilated seats. I wish manufacturers would stop doing that.
Understandable and common for some options, but I often want a loaded car without sunroof and with cloth type seats, but often forced to get a hole in the roof and burning hot seats.
@@tkmedia3866 oh yeah that too. I don't care for the reduced head room that comes with a sunroof. At least here the sunroof is a stand alone option.
Yeah not gonna lie having to add convenience package 2 to get super cruise is kinda bad considering I picked up my 2024 2RS with Super cruise for less money as I don't really think it's worth the extra $5000 for that package.
Totally agree.
@@theaverageev not to mention that the active safety package 3 is $3355 up from $2700 for the same features essentially. When my lease ends, hopefully Openpilot will be supported on the platform as I would like to try that out and compare it to Supercruise.
I'm trying to see if dealer can put wireless charger on my 2024 3LT.
Let me know! I was kind of wondering if they would do that retrofit and the HUD!
I take a 600 mile trip once or twice a year, so I don't think I need SuperCruise. But adaptive cruise control with lane keep assist would be desireable. Not sure if the Equinox EV has the 2nd option.
Adaptive Cruise Control and LKA are standard. Just no lane centering!
$27k invoice on 1lt. Want to pick one up at mid to low 20's.
I can select enough "standard equipment" options to Decontent it down to sub $20k. Hey Chevy; end the so called destination charge.
Does wireless charging come standard?
No, it is included in Convenience Package I.
Do you know where is the option for the bidirectional charging?
RS AWD only (that I can see).
Wish i could add apple car play!
No car play no sale!
What about the RS trim?
I didn't talk about it since it is just a visual upgrade, but RS forces you to add convenience package 1 I believe? So it starts in the mid $40k. It was an intentional omission. Sorry If you were looking for specific info about that. I guess I should have added that part in on reflection for those that were interested.
The top trim needs to be priced 20-30% below ioniq 5 and Tesla model y. The equinox is inferior in soo many ways.. The top trim needs to be 30k to move em
You also have to remind your viewers that they're going through a dealer, not GM. As the fine print says, among other costs, this is before "DEALER FEES." For those that don't know, dealers have the final say on price. GM has no final control on that. They can say otherwise, but GM (and ALL legacy manufacturers) has/have zero power on the final price.
This is because the monopolistic so called "franchise laws" (which go back to the 1950's, just after the last of the original founders on the automobile in America had passed away which would never have allowed them) that give dealers total control on the final price. Legacy manufacturers are forced by politicians to sell their vehicles ONLY to dealers -- not to you, their customers.
So that $34,995 you see online will be closer to $40,000, if not above it, and that's BEFORE taxes, title, etc.
The only way to pay the price you see online is to buy from those manufacturers that never had dealers so they can sell directly to their customers dispite all the push back from dealers and their politicians (which is why quite a few states still prohibit them, be them red or blue states). Those being Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid.
But I understand that many out there are used to the old ways and buy from the brands and styles they're used to all their lives. But at least be aware that the online prices are far from the actual price you're going to pay at the dealer, regardless of not adding any packages (which the dealer will fight you tooth and nail on) to the model of your choice.
rear camera is just above the license plate
I was referencing the rear view mirror camera. That would have to be much higher than the license plate!
@@theaverageev so was I your reverse video feed and the mirror if installed uses the same camera the bolt is also wired that way.
@@chetsaxton1526 Oh ok! I honestly don’t know. Thanks for sharing!
Stealership mark up when u get there
No mark ups for me? Many are leasing with lots off the MSRP.
