You would feel so pissed off if you have watched the videos by so many foreigners of their travel experience in Tibet: all those escapees are struggling in surviving in India or Nepal while Tibetans in Tibet are living very rich and comfortable lives; while the infrastructures in India is like shitholes but that in Tibet is first class.

So people who migrate in India facing so many problems to get a job or visa because they are migrant. Unfortunately, nepal has been the worst place for tibetan refugees due to nepal puppet policies towards chinese . They are not given any govt approved identification, making their work and travel hard . Peaceful protest is not allowed for tibetan refugees, and the celebration of Dalai Lama is banned in nepal.

No evidence regarding that. One flimzy evidence often cited is the accords of persian invasions, who considered the hill kingdoms (states of Himachal and Uttarakhand ) to be that of china. They had little to no controle there. If we look at the very history of these areas, these usead to be occupied by Tribals during time of Mahabharata, made small "janpads" (sort of large villages) and then assimilated into kingdoms in following later times. Nearly all of these were later controled by mauryas, mughals, kushans, Marathas, Rajputs at some point. These areas are known to have significant movement of people from and to tibet, often for trade and pilgrimage. Later, britishers took control of the entire subcontinent, including these. After independence, indian govt merged them into 1 country, often through diplomatic preassure. After indo china war, the drade routs between these states and Tibet were closed, putting an end to centuries long trade and pilgrimages for people on both sides. Culturally, these areas have a culture and dilect continuum, more tibetan like in trans himalayas, to typical "pahari" with touch of adjoining plains in shivalik hills. The difference is also felt from west to east, but is more regarding former kingdoms than indo-tibet stuff. In a nutshell, we dont have any such evidence that these were parts of Tibet. Much bigger is, even if they were, that doesn't matter any longer. What matters is people's lives, freedom, culture, health. Any initiative on joining it with tibet or saparatism or wutever, will only bring harm to its people.
Many of these Tibetans came over twenty years ago or earlier. However, the majority of these exiled Tibetans were descendants of those who left China in the 1959 exodus and the sixties. Then China was poor. Today, it is a different story. China is prosperous and the GDP per capita of Tibet is five times higher than that of India. It is unthinkable today that Chinese Tibetans would even consider trekking across the Himalayas to India. Life is good in Xizang (Tibet) today. I was in Lhasa in 2015. It was already a vibrant city then. Today it is even better. The Tibetan Autonomous Region has a state-of-art infrastructure and Chinese Tibetans live in high-rise apartments and drive SUVs. In 2018, Tibet with Chongqing scored the highest growth in GDP compared to Shanghai and Beijing. Amazing.
They left Tibet not China. The reason they left Tibet was not because China was poor but because China occupied and oppressed Tibetans so intensity that they were forced to spy even on family members as policy to completely destroy the Tibetan people. At one time there were more than 100,000 tibetans in India probably before the internet. but now there are less than 30,000 tibetans in India. Unfortunately, nepal has been the worst place for tibetan refugees due to nepal puppet policies towards chinese . They are not given any govt approved identification, making their work and travel hard . Peaceful protest is not allowed for tibetan refugees, and the celebration of Dalai Lama is banned in nepal.

There's hundreds of town but with different cultures in North East India which are Mongoloid people. There's hundreds beautiful town in south india and Kashmir on mountain like dharamsala with mesmerizing views but dharamsala is popular for Dalai Lama.

One flimzy evidence often cited is the accords of persian invasions, who considered the hill kingdoms (states of Himachal and Uttarakhand ) to be that of china. They had little to no controle there.
If we look at the very history of these areas, these usead to be occupied by Tribals during time of Mahabharata, made small "janpads" (sort of large villages) and then assimilated into kingdoms in following later times.
Nearly all of these were later controled by mauryas, mughals, kushans, Marathas, Rajputs at some point. These areas are known to have significant movement of people from and to tibet, often for trade and pilgrimage.
Later, britishers took control of the entire subcontinent, including these.
After independence, indian govt merged them into 1 country, often through diplomatic preassure.
After indo china war, the drade routs between these states and Tibet were closed, putting an end to centuries long trade and pilgrimages for people on both sides.
Culturally, these areas have a culture and dilect continuum, more tibetan like in trans himalayas, to typical "pahari" with touch of adjoining plains in shivalik hills. The difference is also felt from west to east, but is more regarding former kingdoms than indo-tibet stuff.
In a nutshell, we dont have any such evidence that these were parts of Tibet. Much bigger is, even if they were, that doesn't matter any longer. What matters is people's lives, freedom, culture, health.
Any initiative on joining it with tibet or saparatism or wutever, will only bring harm to its people.
This is what Chinese propaganda books tell you .

Many of these Tibetans came over twenty years ago or earlier. However, the majority of these exiled Tibetans were descendants of those who left China in the 1959 exodus and the sixties. Then China was poor. Today, it is a different story. China is prosperous and the GDP per capita of Tibet is five times higher than that of India. It is unthinkable today that Chinese Tibetans would even consider trekking across the Himalayas to India. Life is good in Xizang (Tibet) today. I was in Lhasa in 2015. It was already a vibrant city then. Today it is even better. The Tibetan Autonomous Region has a state-of-art infrastructure and Chinese Tibetans live in high-rise apartments and drive SUVs. In 2018, Tibet with Chongqing scored the highest growth in GDP compared to Shanghai and Beijing. Amazing.
They left Tibet not China. The reason they left Tibet was not because China was poor but because China occupied and oppressed Tibetans so intensity that they were forced to spy even on family members as policy to completely destroy the Tibetan people.
There is no doubt China and Tibet has become better economically now but under Xi Jinping life is becoming harder due to crack down. Less Tibetans are crossing the Himalyas due to two reasons
- Xi Jinping control on the border as you know his cameras in public places can identify any individual among crowds of thousands in few seconds
- Economy has improved a lot
Now Xi is trying to eradicate Tibetan language by forcing Tibetan kids from toddler onwards to read, write and speak only in Chinese aka Mandarin only. Tibetan language is forbidden in schools. Those teaching Tibetan are punished as counter revolutionary.
Even Tibetan monks are forced to teach Tibetan Buddhism to Tibetan in Chinese by translating Tibetan into Chinese.

第三波，主要是20世纪90年代，当时的中国忙于改革开放，且对军队管理出现了一定的松散。这给了西藏流亡政府(印度肯定也扮演了角色)很好的窗口机会，通过煽动当前的宗教管理太高压、宗教管理是不自由的，组织了一定的暴动。与此同时，东突厥斯坦这一恐怖组织在新疆也煽动了暴动。Hu接受了高层的任务，负责对西藏区域展开了非常严格的管控。这一严格管控，引发了不小规模的迁徙。而这一波迁徙时，身份证，护照，户口等信息记录已经是非常完善的，在这一波跑出去的人，因为很长时间都没有他们的记录更新，他们的户口就被注销了，就很难再合法回来。(正如视频中的一些人说，他们想回却回不去)

其实藏区这事情挺复杂的，我们以汉人视角是挺难理解这种信仰的。但是也尊重他们为了信仰去印度，毕竟真要他们带着那份信仰留在西藏也是很痛苦（理解一下就是比如在大陆信仰蒋委员长一样）。这算是个历史遗留问题吧，也许这一世达赖过世之后可能又会是个新的情况。毕竟藏族文化就是这样，跟着达赖和班禅走。
可能再也没有达赖和班禅了，达赖说过达赖制度就在他这里终结，而从小被接到北京定向培育的十一世班禅不受藏人的普遍认可，班禅永远停留在十世，达赖永远停留在十四世。
说实话, 这里的环境要比拉萨好.

I come from northeastern part of india so Im quite less versed about the tibetian culture, I wonder does government give them any help for finding jobs and stuff. Are they able to hoard in adhaar and identity proofs, I hope they can meet the famil and those who want to go I hope there comes a day when people are allowed to exercise freedom. It warms my heart

在老家是土司贵族，去了印度啥也不是。
主要是土司们对印度不忠心，在印度看来把这些土司留在印度是个祸患，土司们把那些农奴骗到印度就已经没有利用价值了，就被印度有计划地把他们全都移民欧美了。在印度土地上翻身的农奴对印度可是绝对忠心耿耿，比印度人都爱印度，印度本来就是各种松散的联邦，有这么一群超级热爱印度的纯种藏獒谁不爱呀。
