- I take it back, I take it back! THIS PLANE IS THE WORST IN GAME! A lot of you mentioned that I should've included this aircraft in my Top 5, and I only didn't because I didn't have it yet. Now that I do, yeah... this thing sucks.

I unironically found more success using this plane on ground realistic. During the rare occurrences where friendly has total control of the air and 50% of the enemies has left is where this plane shines. Again, you also have to pray to RnG God for a wide-open map cause this thing doesn't really like evading building when playing low altitude.
Well duh, it's basically a tank destroyer with wings I'd be surprised if it wasnt good in ground RB
P108A was ahead of it's time. It was like AC-130 before the consept of "gunship" was technologically possible.
But there was better, the B-25H (PBJ-1H) and the YB-40
P108A series 2 was made for anti-shipping role, hunting unarmored ship like frigates, merchant ship, tanker, and maybe a destroyer, in that role it did perform decently well however in WT you rarely got to shoot at merchant ship, even if you target a destroyer or even a PT boat it will shoot you down because you're massive and slow target

For the part of you mentioning naval targets, it was meant to go after them but most anything that was really armed with more than a few AA guns, Examples being something like a Tanker, troop transport, or just an form of cargo ship since even a small destroyer would rip it apart into pieces
Mind you knowing how often these ships were protected, it wouldn't even be able to get close

The whole idea around this plane is flawed, too big, too slow, the gun is angled funny, the turrets are weak, the damage model is bad enough that it barely fly when it's fine, let alone after damage.
They should let you spawn it for the price of a TD, because it's almost worthless.
Little info: the gun is in fact a regular breda 90 mm rebored to 102 mm.
Italy liked to do that, like in the Littorio class battleships.

the italain 12.7s are the worst 50cal by far, its like shooting spaghetti at enemys, barely do any damage to airplanes
I have to disagree. Yeah, fire speed is not great, but if you use basic or stealth ammo with HE rounds, they are very dangerous. It was better for me than american 12.7

@@j100j somehow M2 are too weak for me outside killing ground units, and planes below 3,7. Later any 20mm (even Japanese crap) is better.
My only advantages are a lot of ammo and the most universal use from all 12,7 (most pen and fire). I had better experience with Italian and Swedish, 12,7, only Japanese is worse (No idea about Russian 12.7 effectiveness).
I think the meta for this one is to sit on the runway for 7-8 minutes watching Family Guy clips and then bait havoc for the airfield camper on the other team.

atleast on italian spagetti cannon plane is just 2.3, meanwhile target practic plane is 3.3

Another beautiful clusterfuck of a plane is the "fixed" version of the F-111 with a downward pointing gun for which you don't get an adjusted crosshair, i.e. your crosshair is completely misleading and an active detriment to your accuracy
Fun fact: with the right ammo belts the turrets light enemies up in no time. Also the cannon is a bit weird, better take full ap belt with you and bonk some tanks with. after i spaded it i put it in the trash can of course😄
that was a fun video, how you try to fight off those swarms of hungry hornets was actual entertainment

also iirc, the ammo for the 102mm on that thing has an actual model. You wont explode if you get hit in the ammo, but your ammo will be gone lol
It's an absolute horror and pointless... have you tried the British Brigand and Firebrand? Both pretty bad.
Brigand is decent
Firecrest is worse but not as shit as this
Firebrand may be a bit bad but you can do good in it and have lots of fun
Brigand is quite a decent early game plane and the firebrand, while not ideal is sorta workable you're never gonna be brilliant in it but you can get something done

This thing is the only unspaded plane that i havent even bothered touching. Doesnt even have bombs like bruh or good defensive armament
IMO it’s the b29. Just because in rb it gets railed by every jet with even a moderate climb rate and even faces early missiles, and since it’s a giant slow beast it’s a huge target. In mixed battles it’s just target practice for spaa and free food for fighters. Even regular tanks can get a lucky pot shot on you if they’re lucky
In sim it has a really bad and rough handling, on top of the jets and missile problems from realism

well at least it doesn't drop the tail of the aircraft after a handful of rounds most of the bombers are way to fragile especially ones repurposed into low altitude roles

Good at ground battles. One shots every tank MULTIPLE times. But fragile to enemy aircrafts.

Italian 12,7 is excelent because it have HE, better than faster M2 browning.
