    Next time don’t use the chrome socket it’ll heat up and break. Used the black sockets.

    try removing a crossthreaded lug nut attached to a stripped & spinning lug nut on mid 80s Oldsmobile achiva with the factory alloy rims with deep recessed lug nut holes with 3 mm clearance between lug nut & rim. NIGHTMERE

    Why not go to the dealership and get a new lug nut key instead?

    That don’t always happen. Try when they get rusted on. Especially when people don’t properly torque them and just hammer drill them on.
