When I played the canto, the moment I heard the glass shatter sfx when fighting the dead rabbits, I immediately went and looked at the corpse sprites and saw that they are completely wrong and look like the T corp civilians that ambushed that random guy and immediately lost my mind at the fact that this early into the story we're already fighting enemies that are (forced) wearing Identities.
T corp's full name, Time Track was actually mentioned all the way back in Lobotomy Corporation when Angela said they have made a contract with Time Track for the TT2 Protocol
If you read Distortion Detective there is a Character named Edgar in the book. The name switch was likely to prevent any confusion if DD Edger showed up again.
I'd like to mention that the reason every feather in catherine's pillow has color is probably because they colored the birds that had those feathers beforehand

In other words, Faust believes that Faust exchanges knowledge with other Fausts from alternative mirror worlds, but this is just "my" speculating.
Additionally, and this is just some wild speculation, but her EGO name Repression Emitter almost makes me think of people who've gotten organ donations. The body often rejects transplanted organs, so people need to use anti-rejection drugs to keep their body from attacking the "foreign" organ. Her EGO being called Repression Emitter, as though it is sending out a pulse that represses something, perhaps Faust herself is an identity being forced onto a different host and the EGO keeps the original identity under control so the Faust hive mind can control it. Or alternatively, the experience of being part of the hive mind is so mind-warping that each Faust needs to keep themselves suppressed so that their mind isn't overloaded by the sheer amount of information constantly flooding through their brains.

One thing I really liked that you didn't mention: Rodion having more serious beef with the rest of the cast. A lot of times she plays a more diplomatic role, with her more angry moments being somewhat comical and trivial, like complaining about food. This canto is one of the few exceptions to that though. Rodion takes issue with how the others see the lives of people who live in the backstreets as pitiful. And I think its a difference between empathy and sympathy. Rodion empathizes with the residents of T corp, whereas everyone else sympathizes. Theres probably something lacking like this in every district. Its also an interesting distinction between her and the rest of the sinners. Many of the sinners are seemingly nest dwellers, or are associated with syndicates. Ishmael seemingly didnt even struggle with becoming a part of a nest. Its just an interesting distinction between her and the rest of the sinners.
RE: The feathers Look if random plants can somehow keep their colour despite the T Corp singularity (you know the plants) then the funny feathers can too. Clearly there must be some biological component that Birds and Plants carry that lets them defy physics.
I think the reason why Linton got his name switched is that PM don’t like people with the same first names, which he shares with Edgar(from distortion detective) if his name is Edgar Linton, PM just made the family name Edgar and made that Zwei Fixer Linton’s brother lol
