Christian looks Indian
They keep saying look how well this tradition works because of how long all our marriages lasted. But it only lasts because Divorce is such a stigma, they stick it out for proprieties sake.
So everybody just going to ignore the fact that her parents sold there daughter for 10 to 15 thousand dollars !!! 🤦🏼♀️
I feel like part of the reason Christian treats Maria like a slave is because his parents technically paid for her

There is nothing wrong with arranged marriages when you arent forcing someone to be your maid
I like this couple a lot. I love how their parents and grandparents guide them into adulthood. I think what people are calling abuse from Christian is not abuse. He was young, stressed out and trying to figure out how to be. He didn’t always get it right, but his family was there to teach and redirect him. I’m happy to hear Christian and Maria have found love. They are a beautiful couple.
I see a lot of comments calling Christian a "sexist" pig, but I don't see it? At all. I identify as a feminist, and not once had he disrespected his bride. We're not to judge, arranged marriages may seem strange to us, but it gives us no right to look down upon it. Besides, I'm sure both parents do take their children's feelings into consideration, and want to make it something that will last a lifetime. I personally see absolutely nothing wrong about it, so many non Roma barely take marriage seriously anymore.
My great-grandparents their marriage was arranged my father and mother's marriage was arranged and my marriage was arranged I didn't even know this girl and then you know here we are we're at a wedding getting married and thank God it's been over 65 years and was still in love with each other
