- New verb "to cross over" and things on tables. Plus don't miss Avram's comedy routine!
Correction: at 19:42, the question should be ? מֶה עָבַר עַם יִשְׂרָאֵל

Boy, Biblical Hebrew stand-up was just not something I had on my radar. You never cease to surprise us.
Me: I wonder how they’re going to introduce introduce lamed infinitive constructs in the Qal. That’s going to be hard to do.
Abram: Why did the chicken cross the road?
Me: Brilliant.
So should I quit my day job to do stand-up full time?
If the Lord wants you to, He will open that door.
Dude, you've been doing stand-up all these lessons. And sit-down too. I really enjoyed the arm wrestle scene some lessons back. A laughing moment is the perfect bandage after banging my head against the brick wall of this language. You two are great. Can't thank you enough.
That was just such a brilliant and unexpected bit I laughed out loud!
Somebody needs to hide that remote from Beth
OUTSTANDING.
CONTENT. GRAMMAR, RYTHM. VARIETY. VOCABULARY. PASSION.
I love the Assassin's Creed Origins scenes and the stop motion animation! Awesome ways to teach verbs!
Thank you! :)
I was just going to ask what game men, women, boys, and girls keep running around in...
I was having trouble understanding the one term related to crossing until the chicken crossing the road joke. That really solidified it. Thanks!
Hebrew is the sacred language and you render the greatest service to humanity teaching it in an interesting method
So good, thank you! and that skit at the end almost killed me😂😂😂
I like the little house and the little people
Perhaps my favorite lesson so far.
Such a delight to watch Avram and Beth!! Thank you ❣️
Todah Abram. Por tu hermosa cuota de humor. Sean muy bendecidos. Shalom
You saved the funniest for last!!!
Thank you very much. These lessons are enjoyable and full of grace
Avram looks exactly like a muppet doing his comedy routine at the very end. Incidentally, and in accordance with Beth’s reaction, my autocorrect changed “Avram” into “scram,” and I had to fix it. God bless Avram & Beth! ❤✝️❤️ 21:14
Thanks Beth and Avram. Enjoying the lessons and I think I'm learning something too.
Your Videos are awesome and truly one of the best (if not THE very best) there is of comprehensible input for any language. I watched all of you lesson in three days only, scince they truly are addictive. When will the next lesson be released??
Wow, thank you! So glad you've enjoyed them so much! We just released lesson 56 a few minutes ago. :)

E' stata una lezione piacevolmente simpatica. Grazie
Great lesson! Question: at 5:35, wouldn't the verb root be more natural to use than for the
Thanks! Yes, the verb rms would be appropriate there, but it's quite uncommon, so not worth teaching at this point. The verb hlk is so general a word for "go" that it can apply to reptiles and crawling things too (such as in Gen. 3:14 when God tells the serpent he will "hlk" on his belly).
Thank you so much for the video! I really enjoy it! Sorry that I can't understand the "joke" at the end. Can anyone please help to explain it the me? Thanks.
It might be hard to understand if you don't know the old joke in English that says "Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side!"
@@AlephwithBeth Thank you for your reply!
Shalom Abba YAHWEH bless you
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Another excellent lesson. Thank you, guys. I wonder how long it took you to reach this level of Hebrew? Do you recommend any other good channels or materials to help us with our Hebrew?
