Wow. I can't believe I actually did it. After months of wanting to start a fan video channel I've finally made one and uploaded my first video. Cheers to starting my resolutions before the new year! This drama is one that I enjoyed very much. I tried to show Ruyi and the Emperor's relationship as best I could. The video isn't perfect as this is my first video and I don't have a proper editing program (send me some recommendations please). I hope you enjoy my video.

I love how the opening of the clip is the scene when Ruyi thinking about Ling Yunche..the man that truly deserves her love rather than her monster of a husband whom she ‘wasted her young years’ with and bring her nothing but pain and misery

At first the emperor and ruyi love was pure but it ended so tragically. Ruyi watched the man she love most of her life falling for others
The song fits so well, London Grammar is a great band. Ruyi is my most favorite and loved character, even Zhuan Hoan. I cried all the time.

This really fits Step-Empress Hoifa Nara (Ruyi's real tittle). At least in the drama, the emperor was in front of her palace when she passed away. In real life, he was on a hunting trip with his sons. He only sent 12th prince back to the palace to take care of the funeral. It was treated as an Imperial Noble Consort funeral instead of an Empress funeral. But even still, it was supposed to be a Imperial Noble Consort funeral, but the 5 days of no government meetings and the cancellations of the royal children’s studies were not held off. And her tomb in real life was a cheap one. The Step-Empress is very pitiful.

Fazila Abubakar at least he was outside her palace. In real life he stayed on the hunting grounds instead of going back to the palace.
