@@ElsagweneWhen a boy is brought up to believe he can do no wrong. This is the man he becomes. I loved her for leaving him because she deserved better. ❤
They have a beautiful start and tragic end. Ruyi all did is to protect the emperor, as the empress, while the emperor all did is to chase women in the place.... Ruyi suffer a lot because of man she loved and hated at the end.
this was a very hard video to make; when I rewatched the early clips of Ruyi and Hongli and saw how much they initially loved each other, I got bittersweet and then remembered the mistreatment and rage I felt for Hongli as the story progressed I just wanted to stab him with a knife, he was awful and Ruyi deserved better! It was necessary to add their early romance scenes to show the true tragedy of their relationship and this story. Enjoy, or cry? watch in HD :)
Lmao he effin raped her, sleeper with countless women. He was just selfish egotist man. Ruyi was living in hell glad atlast peace came upon her with her early death
How can you wish a happy ending with a disgusting, cheater and violent men? Learn to love yourself and you will understand how her ending was the best for her. She was free in the end and died with her dignity. The only one that deserved her died due injustices.
In Hongli’s later year he met a girl who was Ruyi’s lookalike (deleted in the series but in real history) supposedly she was groomed by Hailan (as revenge to remind him of Ruyi). He “loved” that woman who rose rapidly in rank to Consort Hun (she did not even kowtow to Wei) - she gave him the last princess (10th) she could twist Hongli’s finger to get anything (he was 63 then) she was his favourite child and rose in rank as the highest princess. I just see that relationship as reincarnation of Ruyi in the child … to repay all the love he should have given his late empress. Princess was raised by Consort Rong (the Ughur princess) as Consort Hun killed a maid in anger & was banished for a while but later reinstated for the sake of the child. The princess had the best life, never married away, loved by her brother the next emperor and the nephew who came after as emperor - her husband’s family received special favours even in wrong deeds.
When they were so inlove while they are young, even when they get married but when ruyi became an empress it changes everything he love consort rong, and he got jealous with the guard and the emperor did not realuzed that he still love ruyi but its over for ruyi
Damn.. this gives me chills towards the end. I loved how she left him instead of waiting for him to change or come around.
She did wait for him to change but when she realized he wasn't going too... she cut her hair and left his ass! Lol
Authentic and brave woman of her time! 👏👏👏😢😍 Admire her for her strength and feel her heartbreaks and pains. Great series🎉! Excellent performance. ❤

"do not worry" become "you are crazy"... poor them... a beautiful love didn't overcome hongli's jealous
Realistic unfortunately
Excellent tribute to the heart wrenching relatable story of Qingying and Hongli and Ruyi and Qianlong.

I wish they had a happy ending story ☹seems impossible. Even the actor said that he felt guilty to Ruyi in the end of the movie

He actually broke down crying
When did he say that where is it so I can see it for myself

They should make this into a movie
Oh,I think you mean Consort Dun
@@natashajagadhish1887 Yes I did not remember the name. I read about it in Chinese.
Nope Ruyi deserved to be reborn in another dimension. Far away from this loser
The song is perfect with the speed change... I didn't realise it was Lifts, I thought it was a cover.

Sad and realistic video 😍. Great video as always 💖💞
I cried in the last episodes 😢😢😢
Even an emperor needs to know his place...
Una historia de amor con final trágico ruyi soporto mucho por el amor del emperador y el le dio la espalda
One of the worst ML of all time
🤣
Even the actor who played the emperor pity Ruyi and dislike the 'emperor'
Jamás creí llorar tanto como lo hice con la muerte de Ling yunche...
It would of been different if #Ruyi got to be the #FirstWife Like #Hiongli wanted her to be
I disagree

What episode was it when she cut her hair?

Right there close to the end she cut her hair
