Possibly the most archetypal CoH2 game ever -On crossroads -AT gun spam -KT dying to T-34 ram -KV1 being useless as always -There being at least 1 commander button that was never pressed the whole game Ticking all the boxes really, the only thing that could've made it better was if the game bugsplatted right before ending.
I dont think there was more than 4 AT guns built in total across both sides this match, if that certifies as spam then I'd love to hear your analysis of coh3

This game showcases very very well what mental fortitude does in a game like this. The early game was so nasty on you with RNG and losses and I was under the impression that the OKW player at some point expected you to falter and maybe even concede but you had a plan and felt confident you can pull it of so you kept pushing. also with that APM and being able to make good maneuvers on all sides with those t34s really broke his back as you destroyed one strong point after the next. Impressive and entertaining to watch. I also feel like CoH2 feels way faster in terms of models dropping and squads being wiped than CoH3 what are your thoughts on that? Would you be willing to showcase this game as a replay so we can see what OKW saw during the game? Would also be interesting
Thanks for the analysis! TTK is substantially faster in CoH2, I dont think thats disputable at all, as for the replay it's sadly been long overwritten of other matches 🥲
@@spinosaurusiii7027 nobody denies that, it exists, but it's 2024, not 2014. Soviets nowdays have better support teams overall. Wehr's only advantage is in early game MG. Scouting offered by both mortar and sniper are superior to Wehr abilities. And while Wehr AT gun is good, utility provided by Zis is simply better, with it doubling as a mortar and having 6 man crew. There is no way that two PAKs and one mortar will outperform 3 Zis, both in fighting support weapons and tanks. And more players you add to the game, this advantage grows more. Even in 2v2 those differences will be obvious, let alone in 4v4.

Yet, OKW is neither: - a favourite in 1 v 1 tournaments despite being completely vanilla in the tournament mod - leading the (unofficial) CoH 2 stats - winning constantly in high level games cast by Tightrope
