See, there's a difference between something having a face, and something that has a Face.
That thing has a Face. It bears resemblance to what may be a human skull, but it is but a facade. It is designed to lure you into either a false sense of security or unsettle you.
A face is something you know is real, and know you can understand.
Things with a Face are worse. FAR worse.
We need an extended version of this masterpiece!

My DM is hosting a campaign with a heavy emphasis on witch trials, meaning any magic user who isn't a Paladin or Cleric is considered a witch (Warlocks, Sorcerers, Wizards, etc) which includes Bloodhunters, which I chose for my character despite her being in a brigade that hunts witches. She's been hiding her abilities from her team, but the DM says that she'll try and set up some scenes where I get to actually use my Blood Curses and stuff. Since I chose Lycanthropy for her Blood Hunter's Order, we've been working together to try and set up a scene where my character can go all out rather than just use some small curses that could be easily covered up.
Considering the immense fear mongering and terror witches hold over people in the campaign, seeing someone use curse of the bloated before becoming a werewolf will likely make whoever I'm put against to shit themselves since my party wont be around to know about it, and thus I wont have to worry about being hung or thrown to the bottom of the lake whilst chained to a rock. This music is exactly what I had in mind for it.

This instrumental is intriguing, you and your team have really got me going, thinking of all the possibles creatures that could lurk in forest, caves, etc. The suspense really builds up in this song. At the end, it gives you that "You found out what it looks like and your dead" feeling. Man you guys deserve more credit, I hope you grow big in the future and have a good one bro!

This not only sounds like A beast hunting you down, but it also sounds like the protagonist turning into what he tried to defend his loved ones from. And it's not being the villain. This also fits with realizing who the true enemy was. (Ya know this song fits in A lot of things).
P.S This is astounding! Scared me A couple of times.

I was listening to the finale of Bram Stoker's _Dracula_ on audiobook, and put this on for background music. Then 3:05 kicked in, and it was perfect timing, because that was when Van Helsing opens Dracula's coffin. It gave me awesome chills.

This song fits my Lovecraftian monster called JHR4 so well, just the sheer size and impact it has. This is a song that fits so well with the scene of it emerging at the coast of Tokyo, with people being terrified and hopeless, feeling as this 4 kilometer long god of destruction will demolish them with no effort and that everybody will forget them. Fucking terrifying if you ask me

Fact: this beast is 4 humans combined together with their souls taken and have a demon soul.. The backstory of this beast is that shadow demons from hell came and destroyed the village and many villages.. However they didnt kill all of the humans, they kidnapped 4 people in each village.. And tried to create a ravaged like beast.. And switched a human soul to a demon soul, created by the devil himself.. And their creation was unfortunately successful..
So next time they destroy all the humans and villages, they'll turn earth into a hellish place..
It sounds like you're trying to fight the real evil in your mind, which is trying to use your weaknesses to haunt you but you have faith that it can never win over you.

This is by far the most terrifying track I’ve heard in my entire life, and I’m a person who plays Bloodborne so this track pretty nuts!
This would fit as Knull, god of the symbiote s main theme in the MCU or any marvel related project as it has that horror ambiance, enchanting choir, and a bit of Christopher Young’s spider man 3 venom theme as well.

I imagine a humanoid beast with gray, impenetrable, waxy skin, devoid of any hair. It stands 9 feet tall but runs like an Olympic medalist. Its hands are 5-fingered like a human's, but the fingers taper into claws. It's covered in oval shapes with seams. One is on the back of its head, but none on the front. On the front of its head there is only a mouth with spike-like teeth. It seeks energy sources & kills all in its way.
When someone attempts to fight back, the seams open. They are eyes! The jaw drops & it sticks a tongue that resembles a long tube out. Pulses of energy electrocute its enemies.
But when all the eyes are open, you are truly fucked. Now the faceless one is angry. Its ribcage opens with a gruesome collection of pops, tears, and sucking noises. A huge demonic cannon pushes out of its chest. The recoil causes the cannon to retract momentarily. And now you recognize what the monster's tongue really was as the cannon points at y-

I feel like this could be for some unstoppable villain, like maybe something like Michael Myers. The beginning is where he is very mysterious, and then near the end, his intentions are known.
I listened to this once, long before I got reintroduced to it through turning this into that AI shorts and I truly realized how awesome and scary it sounded, and I thought it sounded BAD back when I first heard it, like wtf?

So in my D&D campaign I'm going to have multiple main antagonists which are spread out over multiple (in-game) year intervals.
1. Terrorist organizer
2. Corrupt Monarchist government
3. Doomsday entity
4. The ultimate threat which had been ignored all along: The creeping expansion of an imperial anti-magic (Fascist-like) Republic
This music perfectly encapsulates the looming threat of the third Antagonist. Which would be summoned by a doomsday cult. The entity itself, in my head, I imagined as a near sentient storm with a godlike creature inside controlling it. This music is perfect for the buildup of the scene, as the party vanquishes the cultists but finds out they are too late. The entity awakens and begins to absorb everything around it into a cloud of chaotic matter. They must flee or die, no fighting this thing. They will be unable to beat it traditionally, and must find a new way to get rid of it.

One thing I've always wondered with tracks in this sort of style is on the percussive beats starting around 1:04 -- what is actually used to achieve that? My ear tells me aggressive pizzicato, but I've never been able to quite reproduce the sound myself.
Hi, thanks very much for your comment! I think what you're hearing is the low strings playing col legno (striking the strings with the wood of the bow) quite loudly for that percussive sound - it's nice and punchy/ aggressive, great for this style - hope this helps!

I like it! Do you plan on recording a horror album? I listen to bands like Goblin, Antonio Rex, Il Segno del Comando, L'Ombra Della Sera, L'Albrero Del Veleno, and Jacula. The Italians like their progressive horror. If you could write 35- 55 minutes of original horror, I'm sure I would buy it.
