- This is a Street Legal Florida Titled AM General Humvee. It has been professionally restored with only the best parts. Anything worn or in need of serious repair was scrapped and ordered new / or new old stock. This build took a total of 480 hours to complete. All new hardware from the top to the bottom, including many custom touches, that make this truly a Unique Piece. This Turns heads everywhere and runs perfectly. No Overheating Bullsh*t here! It does not drive like your typical Humvee, it drives like a Suburban on the Highway! Look at the detail in every photo and you will realize how special this AM General really is! We have put a total of 120 test miles on it to ensure it truly is a turn key Monster.
Interior:
The Interior was completely stripped down and carefully planned out, most if not all hardware has been replaced. Four Besttop seats accent the interior, along with a Kiddie Jump seat in the rear using all stainless/grade 8 hardware for durability. The front Seat mount was custom fabricated for easy height Adjustment. The Interior is Insulated with a Thick coat of Dark Tan Line X, we chose this as it would be durable in case you wanted to wash it out after a day in the mud. All Electrical components have been gone through and operate like they should. We opted to run both 12 volts and 24 volt charging systems for ease of use. A custom fabricated MME switch panel was installed near the light switch, this controls all of your 12-volt accessories, including the powerful Marine Wetsounds Stereo system. The System is controlled Via Bluetooth. The system was carefully installed and all wiring is gauged correctly. All Amps are fused correctly and have marine grade grommets, all wiring is neatly hidden under the passenger side seat as well. It sounds AWESOME. All of the electrical is powered by 2 Deka Mil-Spec batteries. The interior also features a Custom Steering wheel with modified leads for the horn to operate. A 12-volt charging port has been added as well for long journeys. To top all of this off we modified the back seat braces with storage cubbies, along with storage for the AS-10 subwoofers with color matched grills. We also opted to install Interior accent lights that brighten up the cabin at night. All of the gauges and Wires have been replaced and color matched on this BEASTT.
Exterior:
We opted to disassemble the whole chassis prior to paint. It took over 55 hours just to prep it for paint on our end. All of the Carc Paint was sanded, and all antenna holes were filled in, and any dents were massaged out. The Client opted for a military look so we decided on Rapco Tan. We replaced all the hardware with Stainless using a Permitex barrier to stop corrosion. No “Tape off” marks on this truck, we took the hood off for paint along with all accessories involved with it. Please look at the photo gallery below and see the attention to detail on the front end. All Exterior lights were replaced with LED components including the Headlights, it looks MEAN going down the road. The top and doors were ordered brand new. All new hardware throughout for the top. We used only the best Fastenal fasteners for the doors and door mounts. The Doors can be removed in less than 5 minutes if you want to cruise to the beach or feel like getting the extra wind in your hair. Wheels and tires were next on the list a Fuel Mavericks 20x14s mounted on Toyo 40×15.50s. We decided the AM General on the rear Tailgate needed more, so we had our logo CNC cut from steel and added led accents to accentuate it at night ( they light up with the brakes ) We performed a 2-inch suspension lift and color matched the new shocks in Rapco Tan. The front end was completely disassembled and a new cross member was installed due to prior damage, during this time we resealed both the front and rear differentials, along with color matching the brakes in Rapco Tan. The front fascia was complemented with an MME front brush guard, with custom LED pods and a 9500 warn winch! We added extra lighting with a MME light bar and professionally wired it all back to the panel inside. Please take a moment to go through the gallery, bring tissues.

Oh.. God..why am I not working with you ! The black and sandblasting combination is just great ! Seat cover design is simple and easy !
WOW! Im not a big humvee fan but i gotta say u guys knocked it outta the park on this one!! Great attn. to detail!
So did you replace any bolts?
Jonathon Parker thanks! I needed that laugh today!
:)))
I was wondering the same thing
Not sure if they change the hardware
What about hardware?
Very nice but not a fan of the mall-crawler wheels
My thoughts as well.
Mekhanic1 honestly the standard stock rims look really good to me
Logan Graham its mainly for driving comfort. Driving my hmmwv with the 2 piece beadlock wheels and run flats still in, I can understand the replacement of the wheels. Once your up to about 40 mph, the whole truck shakes and it doesn't smooth out until you're above 50. Those wheels don't balance out well. If you use the hmmwv as a daily driver, you'll find that the wheels need to be changed. If you mainly use it for off road, the original wheels are great.
They aren't too bad, there could be worse on it but standard would be better.
Very simple, very cool! Love it....
fantastic build. Great Work!
I lived on a Humvee for many years. That Humvee looks great.
Very nice. I would love to have one of these as a company vehicle/overland vehicle with a roof top tent on top. How much roughly for one similar to this build?
Hi mixflip the truck guy
I love what you did to this thing! It's Bad Ass. It would be a daily driver for me, the rich dude you built it for will most likely park it in a garage and it'll never see dirt or sunshine ever again, just something to brag about.
GOOD JOB GUYS, DONT WORRY ABOUT THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS. KEEP BUILDING WHAT YOUR CUSTOMERS ASK FOR..👍👍😎
Nice Humvee, I worked on it at the Motorpools in Schweinfurt.
Super Clean
Looks like a damn beast
This is awesome!
Great job for an old veteran
Is that all new hardware?
Levi H. Yes.
I think I was a feel old bolts hahahahaha
Super clean
Amazing build.... 👍
Nicely done and way to do it right!
The wheels are awesome
Καγκουρας με τα όλα του! Ηχεια,τιμόνι και το καλύτερο από όλα ζάντες!!
Great video! Good job!
On the Spot Cash Award for working on US Army Trucks
All that work and No 4th gear?
My 1986 HMMWV is noisy and loud inside, did you add any additional sound proofing material in this build? Air Intake Snorkel but no fording exhaust pipe. Which make model of that light bar did you use there.
hey nice job. and the video editing and drone work, perfect!
Thanks William!
First video that left me speechless
How do you get one with a title? I’ve looked at buying several times, but they all seem to stipulate that they are off road only.
Just curious what was the bottom line on that build?
Did you guys replace any of the bolts?
Y'all did a great build. For the haters who are bitching about what you didn't do ,well it's a customers build who apparently had a budget. And it seems that customer wanted the basics done so that the vehicle will last until he decides to put a bigger better motor in it but so it can still be used till then. So great job guys. Hope to see more videos. And for those saying the motor isn't powerful enough yes you are right but it's not about the power it comes down to gearing and the portal hubs turns the power to 2:1 so 200ftlb of torque is turned into 400 at the wheel and a simple transfer case gear reduction would make it so much better without a new motor. So for a baller on a budget it's a badass build that I'd love to own. The only thing I'd like to change without killing the budget is the radiator cause when that fan on that one kicks on it sounds like a jet engine inside so I guess some sound deading inside would help as well. But for just off-road use it wouldn't matter. Geat video
john martin your arguments invalid, $35-40,000 put into this?! Are you kidding me, it’s a major rip off and waste of resources, it doesn’t even have hard doors or a top, they cut corners
Looks good
I LOVE THIS CAR
🤩🤩🤩 nice!!!
Quick question, what's the color code for that brown you used? It's a beautiful looking rig. The attention to detail is phenomenal.
What type of batteries you used? I need 2 new ones and unsure if I should go with what it came with.
Nice build good video
very nice
Very nice.
Well done ! I want one ! 😆
Sweeeet ! I like it !!
You guys mentioned 35-40k in parts only, how much did it cost in total? Would've guessed with the work that went into it at least 80k?
I wonder, does anyone know if he replaced any of the hardware?
Never thought I'd see a hum motherfucking vee on mall crawler wheels
Dude, there's a gap on the floor at 6:37. Should have sealed it to prevent water or mud from seeping in when going mudding or river crossing. Btw, the project is a beast. Cheers!
Great rig! I’d trade in my truck for one of these
Did y'all keep the 24 volt system
Is that a full fording kit? Or just a snorkel? Are all of the electronics inside waterproofed or water resistant? For example The vents on the side of the amp don't look right.
Just curious thank you
How does the lineX effect sound levels?
Oh my....It`s devil on the wheels!!!!
What did all of this cost including vehicle, new hardware and labor?
What's the approximate budget for this level of build?
Did you properly PMCS that vic
Excelente modificación
What is the total cost of it as it sits with all the work and mods done?
good video
But did they replace the hardware? What about the bolts?
👏👏👏 beauty
muy bueno esta el hummer.
LOL, ideas for the next project: HumveeEE, MonsteRRR, BuildT :-))
A Cadillac valve, that's a new one.
Nothing out better, beefier, or more practical than the stock wheels. But the got swapped out for cast aluminum China junk?
Nice...!!!!!!.
Wow amazing!! I don't know what it'll cost to get one brought here in Kenya thousand? But I'll save ur contacts .
Yea but did you replace any of the old hardware?
WOW my Bro beatyfull truck blessing from El salvador c.a
From
Had any problems with the stainless and the aluminum, stainless tends to break when paired with aluminum
Haven't had any issues with it yet.
A car salesman with a Cayboyhat. Big hat -no cattle
Hey- Can you talk more about that stereo set up? Is it some sort of bluetooth speaker bar playing directly from the phone. I'd love to do with my H1.
We have another video coming out end of next week with a similar setup, I will go into more detail then.
Cool. Look forward to it.
Hey Bullet- Can you hook me up with a link to the stereo set up you have in that rig or the vid that covers it? I'd love to do something like that in my h1 and get rid of the piece of shit radio. Thanx
If you increase the snorkel hight you can make it a submarinw
when under water itll hold onto oxygen , but not long so i recomend a closed circut oxygen system
A fine Murican I can hold my breath for a long time until I need a cigarette. So I'm good.
Franks ... youre my fucking hero
Diggin the stoopid
Any new bolts? What about the old bolts?
Where is the actual stereo deck at?
Never trust a guy that wears a cowboy hat, shorts and sneakers.
Floridians man
Didn't we elect 1?
Wow cool ~♪
Nice, truck good thing he told us they replaced all the hardware......14 times!!!!
I'm thinking about buying a humvee for my daily driver. Currently daily a 2017 mustang gt. Just wondering if the humvee would hold up to the salt of a new Hampshire winter
I want to get a military HMMWV to, if only I could afford one lol
Momma said torx bolts are the devil.
ur momma is a smart lady
Mom has no imagination of torque.
Tremendo H1 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Is that invertor waterproof?
What song is that in the intro?
Love how the first time he mentions the new bolts, and points to them, the first thing I see is an old slotted head screw on the headlight casing. Classic. So... they're not all new bolts then?
Matt Sampson those bolts were new and actually hand polished. Thanks
If I had the money I would do carbon fiber and black brushed anodized aluminum interior.. and a full glass display with a Tesla like control panel with 360 degree view.. Gps..etc.
Frame rate like once every second?
God I love that I was born in America. Awesome ride!
drink every time he talked about the new bolts. you’ll be drunk by 2 mins 10 sec. :)) cool looking hummer
Humvee
is their any new hardware on this rig
Is South Florida where you guy’s shop is?
Yes.
Bolts can either be stainless or grade 8, but not both...
Nice rig. But I'd stick with some beadlock rims
6:34 why would you put a inverter there if he wanted a set up to go through water?
I would have thought the 1989 would be a 6.2 NA not a 6.5 NA or 6.5 TD but you said you kept the original 6.5? I don't think the 6.5 was even released in NA form until the 90s? I assume this is really a 6.2 NA with the older 3L80 trans?
I think that is the best humvee on RUclips, keep them vids coming, oh and one more thing, how can I get one of your builds to Australia?😁👍
what did you expect from a serviced HMMWV lol , nice build.
i love america i will support my country wich is here USA but i was born in Armenia lived here for 30 40 years now i do concider this is my nation in a way why cause we bread this air land and food we at and all amazing stuff we see
BulletmotorsportsInc Do you have the paint code for the exterior please?
Im building a Memorial Jeep Wrangler for my brother who was killed in Military Combat and id like to get the color correct and also use a satin or gloss finish. He was planning to build a Jeep as he loved them but since he never got the chance im doing it in his honor and memory. Thanks so much for any help.
How much?
Do you guys build and ship to other countryes?
But did you replace any of the hardware. Is it new??? Any new nuts or bolts ????? 🤔🤔🤔
