People are talking about the SL's copying the Stingettes style. Here's what I say to that.
If they ARE copying them, that's probably the right group to be copying. That's a very entertaining group to watch.
Their outfits in the stands and on the field looked great at the Southern Heritage Classic, despite the nit picking by some of you.
With Mrs. D as a coach/sponsor/supporter, they will get extra attention and exposure. This is a good thing for the Sophisticated Ladies and for the University.

Damn they look good and that captain serving attitude. I have been watching these ladies from beginning of the season and when I seen the captain's energy, I saw these ladies confidence level raise the roof. U just get this is our time to shine feeling from these ladies.
My prayer is that our HBCU's keep growing in prosperity and enrollment. Nothing but love for the Culture.

Saying the SL’s look like, trying to duplicate, copy the stingettes is a big reach!!! This look was totally different. It gave sophisticated and ppl are talking and taking notes! I understand some of you may be a big, hands down ASU Stingette fan but give credit when it’s due…. The SL’s killed it with this one! They are growing and evolving in a way that’s making y’all do a double take! The old TSU tradition wasn’t getting them anywhere and the alum (well some of them) can testify to that! Change is good y’all!!

The only thing that looked like the Stingettes was the hat use. The hats were different and the moves were so very different from when the Stingettes entered with their hats. These moves are sharp, precise and well.....

Those are my girls but they are NOT the only ones allowed to be dramatic. Y'all complain every day about evolution of dance teams & once they do it y'all tear them down

I loved this look and the entrance was everything. I didn't think Stingette like some people were saying. It is a totally different look than theirs. I've seen this look on Beyonce with that hat.
