Sir Mack Rice "Mustang Sally"
Sir Mack Rice is a Detroit R&B legend. Along with Wilson Pickett and Eddie Floyd, he was a member of The Falcons vocal group. As a Stax recording artist, he wrote many hits including "Respect Yourself" by The Staples Singers and Wilson' Pickett's "Mustang Sally" - which he performs in this video from the All Star Revue.

Rice cut, I like what he's doing in this clip better,
they're all good renditions, I prefer Pickets though,
the arrangement is slick, very slick.

Wow I knew sir Mack rice personally..he was my mother’s friend..he used to tell me and my brothers he wrote this song but we were so young we never heard it..he used to hang out at this spot on fisher and warren Detroit east side R.I.p Mack rice🤦🏿🤦🏿
