🚌 We're Beth & Eddie and we're a family of 4 soon to be living and traveling in our tiny home school bus. We're on a journey to travel all of the Lower 48 to find our 'forever' State. PSA: Don’t recommend using an angle grinder for rivets. We will have a future video showing just how quick an air gun with air hammer and air chisel takes it off.
Realized we didn’t explain very well how we removed the floor. After the floor tracks were cut out we then took an angle grinder to cut off the heads of the bolts and the heads of the nails, this released the floors and allowed pulling them up MUCH easier.
I can't wait to see the finished bus
I honestly didn't expect the use of a jack to pull up the floors, but.. if it works it works. Haha
Honestly, surprised neighbors didn't offer to come help. Usually something like this is a neighborhood project in Florida.
I am on a road trip and this is the perfect series for me to watch

Removing those floor tracks looked awful! Grateful we didn't have to deal with that haha You guys are doing great!!
We did a pretty terrible job documenting just how awful the floor tracks were. There was a lot more cussing and fussing lol still getting used to the whole recording ourselves thing, sometimes we just get in the zone and forget to hit record 😬
@@UsPlusaBus we totally get that! Every time we go to edit a video we're like "we didn't film anything we meant to!" Its a lot to juggle!

@@UsPlusaBus yes!! We’re hoping to finish our build this winter (fingers crossed) then go full time for at least a year or two depending on how it goes!

you put the tool floor jack to the actual use as a floor jack

You should be able to take a drill bit it and drill out every rivet instead of having cut every Rivet If you take your drill bed and put it in the center of the rivet It will punch out the center of it and break the rivet.

how did you guys disable the buzzer alarm for when the emergency door or emergency window is tampered with ? is it just a simple battery connection ?
Ours was already disabled by the school district once it went up for auction. They removed and disabled everything “school” related (stop signs, alarms, stop flashers, etc )
