Get ready for another new one in the next month or two then. I’m getting ready to start my channel next week which will be about me and my adventures of buying a bus, making my maiden voyage from Florida back up to central NC where I’m gonna start the conversion process right away and I’m gonna cover every minute of it and I’d love to have you as a sub Chris when I get it launched!!
My bus is slightly different than this one is tho. I just bought a 1982 MCI Passenger bus that’s been used by a church for the past decade or so and has a rebuilt engine with only 10k miles on it but it’s in great shape and I can’t wait to start this new chapter of life Chris. I’ll go over everything in the first few videos and kinda explain how I got to the point of living in a bus, but much of it had to do with the economy and things going on in this world right now but I’m a disabled Vet who just lost my home of 7 years and needed to find a place to live fast or be homeless. I refuse to rent a house or apartment and wanted something I could pay for with the small amount of savings I had left cause I refuse to ever put myself in a position with having a loan where someone can walk in and take it away from me again in the future. I’ll cover all this in detail but I never missed a payment on my mortgage but got foreclosed on and my home read sold at foreclosure auction two weeks ago and I’ve got a short time to get out which is hard being disabled, recovering from surgery again, etc so that’s why I chose the passenger bus like the MCI because it had the under belly storage that I’m gonna need cause I’ve got a ton of tools I need to keep and take with me but needed the extra storage that type of bus will provide. I’ve been wanting to get a bus to convert anyways so I’ve been collecting materials for several years when I could find them cheap on close outs or sales so I’ve got most of the materials I’ll need to convert it, and the final step was finding a bus which I finally did but it’s 450 miles away but I’ve got it bought and I’m working on insurance now and soon as it’s in place, I’ll go to Florida and get it. Hoping middle of next week.
So keep your eyes posted for a new bus channel Chris! It’s gonna be an adventure, and it’s gonna be fun, and it’s also gonna be a challenge but I’m ready!! I’m ready to build an absolutely beautiful bus and I’d like for you and all your friends to join me Chris!!

I recomend if you buy another bus like the bus that youhave you keep the elevator if your need to bring like a tv in you can just use that

A wire cup for a grinder would have been able to get the rust out much faster or maybe even rent a floor sander so you didnt have to spend all that time on your knees hunched over
We tried the wire cup and didn't like it, we preferred the sanding discs. A floor sander would have been great though

Nice Blue Bird TC2000 school bus! I can see that the bus used to be owned by "Transportation South" which is really cool because my district used to buy a bunch of buses from "Transportation South" until 2005.
At 6:48 , I would of loved to buy those First Aid kits (just the box/frame, just empty) because it has the Transportation South labeling on it. Anyways, good job on starting the conversion! :)
