slick marketing vs proper SQ? No doubt this Range Rover will sound good, but would very much prefer CCA to talk more about how they tune the car and the the philopsy rather than spending most of the video talking about how expensive the gears are and how good the astesthics are (which clearly is v good).
We will be releasing a video on that very soon actually. It takes a lot of time to make content and we are in the business of installing and making our clients happy so unfortunately marketing and those types of videos don’t sit at the highest level of priority as most of our clients trust our experience and team and the majority do not want to go into that much detail about the finer details of installs, they just want to see final results and if it is something they would want. In some videos we do show more behind the scenes and some we don’t, it just depends on the job and timings 🙏
There is a massive difference between a reversible system that uses all factory locations, and a system where the car is cut to pieces in order to create optimal speaker locations/applications. It's not really fair to compare the two installation styles.
@@BMW1M If you think this is completely 100% reversible with no trace or without buying new panels again then you are silly. Also at least watch the ps sound video... They are using the factory fittings, it looks more factory than this car...
@@rjj00 What do you think you're teaching me? I've been competing in car audio since the 90's mate. I'm telling you, there's a MASSIVE difference between Peter's Cutty Cutty and what these guys are doing. As Cambridge rightfully said, they are catering to a different client.
Congratulations, the result is great. But there are 2 issues I'm curious about, the first is how did you solve the electrical infrastructure? I couldn't see the extra battery or capacitor. 2- Thesis amplifiers are very hot work, how did you make it cool?
Nice idea with front subwoofer👌 Did you manage to get rid of vibrations in the footwell? ( subwoofer vibrates a lot, I’ve tried front sub in my car but there was just too much vibrations that I could feel with my feet😢)
I’d love to hear this SUV.This is such a clean build👍 In the early 2000’s i was running a SQ competition car and won a few competitions 😄💪 Speakers were DLS from Sweden. Amps were Audioson Subs were JL Audio W7-8” upfront and a 13” in the boot. JL Audio processor.
You could just get the upgraded meridian signature system in the sv autobiography. It’s got 29 speakers in your year Range Rover but the new Range Rover has an extra 4 channels in each headrest and also height speakers for Dolby atmos. And it’s got subs built into each seat base. I get that your system is focused on high end amplification but what you can get stock is on par not to mention the fact that it is DSP tuned for the cabin of the Range Rover and is phase corrected and equalized in house by Land Rover using software similar to Dirac.
@@CambridgeCarAudio You have no idea about how much I hate to see decent folk getting stung by Land Rovers in general , how the sales staff sleep at night is beyond me , Ill not add more as there is no need , most folk know about the farce that is called Ingenium.
@@BMW1M To be fair, neither does the sound test which they still manage to find time for in every video? @@rjj00 it’s running on the factory alternator and new battery. We don’t mention it because the numbers are a lie. It’s about how RMS is measured and no product range measures it the same so why encourage false info that doesn’t mean much

The budget spent on making this video is higher than what was spent on the sound system of my 2000 CRV. That includes money spent by me and the factory.
To say the sound 2nd hand at best coming through my phones speakers, the clarity and isolated sounds all coming together is superb.👍

Would you take this to Brighton to a car audio meet and see how it compares to anything done by PS sound?
We aren’t in the competition scene and we operate in very different markets to them. Hope that makes sense 🙏
This would be good for the audio scene. Shame it won’t happen

Just drop us an email to book a demo 🙏

We use fans to keep it cool and vent ports as well as we just use the factory alternator and upgrade the factory battery and no caps :)
Amazing work. Better have good insurance tho, worst case the car gets stolen then they find thousands of audio kit 😂

I often wonder is this kind of investment worth the money, I mean you may be able to get very close to that sound quality with 20% of that budget
Kind of, there comes a budget on every car that gets you to 85% then it becomes small marginal gains to make it better and better
