Thank you for that encouragement for "older" mothers. It was a blessing. I'm 36, never been married, have wanted to be a mom for years but have been trying to do things the Lord's way (saving sex for marriage). My age now has been stressing me out a bit - I've slowly been wondering if my dream of physically having a baby will never come true. But, that's in the Lord's hands. He will do what He wants to do. Children are a blessing from the Lord, not a right, and if it's the Lord's will it will happen. :) If not, I believe that was in God's sovereign will, and adoption is still on the table. :) Just, I imagine it's a wonderful thing to have your own as well.

If I had to do it again I wouldn't be a romantic. My girlfriends made do, married, had children and divorced. But men have changed and never want to marry.

In 2019, my 52 year old assistant had a baby, completely natural. I am waiting on mine, and have been for 18 years, but I trust God. I feel it’s closer than ever before and my faith has increased, just like Abraham’s. I’m just keeping my body as healthy as possible to receive my bundle of joy!🙌🏾 Blessings to you!

Right! I'm 40 with my second after 9 years and even my OB said the same. She was like ain't it funny a woman 35+ are considered "geriatric pregnancy" but man are not considered old at that age. Our grandmothers had 15 kids into there 50s and no one bat a eye

My Pitbull Terrier started having major leg issues and could barely walk once he hit 15yrs. We worked with him for 4mths, nothing changed. I didn't want to find him passed away, plus he had a great life for a dog. Took him to the humane society when he was happy go lucky riding in the car with me. I stayed with him and he passed peacefully. I just paid $25 for everything and received his last paw print. Glad he passed peacefully without pain. Sorry for the loss of your dog. Glad your family has other pets to love. It hurts especially when I hear other dogs barking or hear people talk about their dogs. I made a mistake of saying "my dog"..forgetting he had passed 2wks prior. I was having a conversation with a random person about dogs.
I think it's so good you are teaching your children important life skills.

I love to sew. My grandma made blankets as did my aunt. My mom made clothing and even made tuxes for my Ken dolls for a Barbie wedding. My family has made this such a cherished skill that I've learned to make almost everything possible.🥰
I must learn this useful craft. I admire people who sew, especially when they make their own clothes.
