    There's a small plate above the decelerator pedal that will give you the serial, series and yr

      It definitely was, unfortunately the transmission had alot of water in it too. Causing a while bunch of other issues.

      I had an OLD D4 7U that had the hydraulic pump fail. I had one guy try to rebuilt it, but ended up doing more damage and then found a reputable shop to do it right, but then had to find someone to re-install it for me since I was busy and it was just a farm cat. The machine ended up sitting for two years, but did have a full tank of diesel. When we got the pump back on it just needed a new batter, but fired right up afterwards. I love the simplicity of the pre 90s diesels.@@Carollascompactconstruction
