Most are scared of the Y bones....There's several ways to get around them, though it looked like rob cleaned them a conventional way and then trimmed the Y-bones out. Most fishermen think that Pike taste terrible and are prized just as a game fish...but as the vid suggest, it's quite good.
Wayne Rostad did the Pepsi style taste test with Pike and Pickeral(Wallye),and they couldn't guess the difference.Wings over Canada was his show.
Had to watch that fish jump like 3 times. From one FL native to another, love your stuff.

Everyone always asks what it is and where I got it. Always point then towards your channel. Up this way the closest thing we have is Old Bay, but Everglades blows it out of the water all day. I live in Michigan. Been to Florida a few times in the past two years and each time I have gone to Plublix, purchased Everglades seasonings and brought them back. Even sent my Dad some and he lives in Illinois.

Virginia- I have and use all of the Everglades seasonings. Had never heard of the seasonings until watching your channel and thanks for the introduction! We have used them on all of our harvests; venison, vegetables, bear, wild turkey, chicken, fish, beef and fresh farm eggs. Amazing flavor when added to all table fare!! Anyone out there that has not tried it you should order some and add to your next favorite dish.

I’m an avid hunter and fisherman I watch your channel constantly I ordered all of the Everglades seasoning a few weeks ago I’m from south Louisiana
Living in Finland and fishing in crystal clear waters most of the time, I can honestly say that Pike is my second favourite fish to eat, second only to Perch. Yeah, they both beat all the salmon fishes IMO. The clearer the water, the better the pike tastes. As long as you release anything over about 4kg (~8-9lbs), it's absolutely gorgeous fish to eat.
Nothing beats Perch though...
And, you absolutely can not let the meat from pike touch that slimy shit or it will leave a taste 100%

Was just down in Florida for vacation and made a special trip to the local Publix and picked up all five seasonings! Brought them back to northern Indiana!
My grandfather would always fillet em just like a bass but would then make diamond cuts 3/4ths the way through all down the fillet to break up the tiny spinal bones. Jack is my all time favorite fish to catch/eat. Amazing fighters and sweet tasting prolly due to the fact they're cold water fish.
