One of the many things that made Jordan so great was his supporting cast throughout the years. Players like Paxson and Kerr always were there at the right place at the right time to deliver long range three's almost automaticly. The great play from teammates and bench players should never be overlooked who surrounded Michael Jordan during his Legendary Career, peace.

Even though the Bulls lost this game, it was a very, very, very good game. Jordan was GOING OFF. He was hitting his jumper, going to the basket, hitting threes, and just playing with a tremendous amount of energy. He tried hard to close out this series in this game. But it's cool because the Bulls closed it out in Game 6!! John Paxson with that game winning 3!!!! :) yes!!!!

, Living here in Phoenix all my life ,1993 was the most exciting season ever..Barkley came to town, The entire city of Phoenix had a special buz and excitement. Suns were so close but of course, MJ spoiled it for us ... KJ is one of the most underrated PGs to ever play the game.

Like I said earlier, damn I was depressed after this Game 5 on a Friday evening..it was all setup perfect for Chicago..the first team in modern NBA history to three-peat, to win 3 consecutive NBA world titles..and to do it in the Stadium, was going to be absolutely AMAZING..instead, Phoenix just bolts out of the gate from the beginning and the Bulls are . immediately knocked back on their heels.. sure, they made many runs to come back throughout the night, but never could overtake Phoenix..

This was the night that was to promise immortality to the Chicago Bulls..a triple-crown winner, to place themselves as one of major pro sports all-time greatest franchises..they were ready to close the curtain on the Finals, and they were ready to do it at home, in Chicago Stadium...only the Suns didn't quite accommodate the Bulls..and fought and clawed their way out of Chi-town with a win, and left the stunned Bulls in disbelief, as they let a golden oppurtunity pass..

The Bulls won game 6 by a last second three by Paxson. Granted, it was a nice shot, but I'd hardly say that Phoenix losing was inevitable. This was a fairly even series.

3:55 my favourite Jordan dunk from this finals, especially because people say MJ started his physical decline on 1993. Which may not be necessarily untrue, but I always thought that at the time he was more tired (instead of resting he spent his summer in the Olympics so he had basicaly 2 seasons+postseasons in a row) then declining. Also, seing how athletic he still was at the age of 33-35, it's funny to read comments about how he may have started declining at the age of 30.

A declining MJ is still more athletically gifted than most of the NBA. His 48 inch vertical diminishing to a 40 inch. Is still on the high end.

Character and respect where never by Pistons side! Never! The Lakers where hard, the Celtics very hard to beat, the Knicks pff...nasty and the Supersonics with the Utah Jazz nightmare teams! We managed to win in front of each team with courage, sportivity, dignity, focus and comitment! Trough the years the Chicago Bulls organization is world wide with fans who suport and love the franchise unconditionally! In my country and in my city people use to say Jordan, Pip, Rodman, ,,Batman" for those who inspire, who help in need, who teach us lifelessons and for those who protect and defend us daily! The game of basketball is not just a teamsport it is a game when individuals come to play in a sistem and give the best togheter! Basketball unlike fotbal is not so popular, but thanks to the NBA and FIBA, Basketball is a i love this game sport, a good ambasador and an excelent choice for those who want not just the exibition and practice! Someone said something like this: Basketball is beautiful because is hard! Yes a true sentence with a true meaning! Leadership in basketball is like leadership in life! Whithout leadership the sistem fails, whithout the sistem, leadership don't count! Basketball unlike fotbal is a profound socialgame not just at the surface! The basketball game is symbiotic! If the leadership is okay the team is okay! If the team is okay the leadership is top best! This management skill is a 100% pure basketball! Fotbal learned that from basketball! I grew up watching NBA games and learned english on Cartoon Network! I will be a Bull till the day i die! In my country i was called different because i was some of the few guys that played basketball when everybody played fotball! The times were tough then, like in ourdays! I had a prisoner life because i didn't like fotball and even i didn't like fotball i beat them at fotball! I beat them so bad they don't understand that the revenge is served! This is my story and my people story! True people always win! This Victory is the world's Victory against the exterminators and those who brought interracial and religious hate, pandemic viruses wars between people, nations, families!

The Suns in that 1992-93 season does enjoy playing in the Madhouse on Madison in Chicago Stadium winning 3 out of 4 games in Chicago. Even in their only loss there, they made the Bulls sweat for their win.
    Regular Season : Suns 113 Bulls 109
    1993 NBA Finals G3: Suns 129 Bulls 121 (3OT)
    1993 NBA Finals G4: Bulls 111 Suns 105
    1993 NBA Finals G5: Suns 108 Bulls 98
Becoming the only team that won against MJ and in Chicago 3 times in a season They could have made it a clean sweep in Chicago if KJ and Barkley had not blundered dearly in the final minutes of Game 4.

Great point! I’m glad people are finally pointing out how good the Suns actually did in this series. They just choked the first two games at home. A lot of pressure to win at home sometimes. All your fans are expecting a win. In Chicago, you’re in the Bulls den. It’s put up or shut up time.

    • @evervictorious007

@@TheNotSoOrdinaryCarGuy The Suns are actually a great side capable of winning a title. However they always choked in clutch time. Even after when MJ retired, the Suns had their chances at 2 more rings if they have not choked again at home against Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets after stealing the 1st 2 games at The Summit in 1994 and throwing away a 3-1 lead, losing the remaining 3 games in which 2 out 3 at home in 1995. Their clashes with the Rockets were classics and they actually gave Hakeem more problems than any team in the Western Conference did. But their failure to close the series at home cost them.

@@TheNotSoOrdinaryCarGuy From a Bulls fan, after MJ retired after beating u guys in the 1993 Finals, I expected the Suns to go all the way in 1994 and 1995 since the my beloved Bulls team can no longer pose a serious threat without MJ esp when the Suns have strengthened their teams after 1993, adding players like AC Green, Wesley Person, Wayman Tisdale, Joe Kline, Danny Manning and Elliott Perry to their already star-studded team. As I said in the earlier comment, had the Suns not chocked against the Rockets at home in the 94 & 95 WCSFs in crucial moments, those 2 rings which Hakeem and the Rockets won should have been your team’s. I dun believe the 94 Knicks and Shaq and Penny’s 95 Magic can beat ur team.

As a fan of these Bulls teams, I can't say that I wasn't a bit dissapointed after this loss...sure, they won the title anyways in Phoenix..in the most dramatic fashion I might add..but, maybe it would have made it even more special had they clinched the immortal three-peat in Chicago Stadium..either way, it was a scary time for Bulls fans, knowing that the Suns were alive and well after this victory..and that it would be especially hard to finish the series now...

Correction: Majerle was on the defensive second team that year (there is no third team). Rumor has it Jordan was a bit fired up for the challenge because Jerry Krause (who Jordan disliked) had been talking up Majerle's defense all season.

  • @jordanlover23
    @jordanlover23 16 лет назад

He actually rarely grabbed the defender's arm when executing that move, but he did so in this instance, probably because he knew that KJ, being a much smaller player, could recover quickly on the cut.

  • @sbeallvln

Further proof of Jordan's greatness is that he didn't fold in this game when Phoenix was ahead by so much. He still made it close, as if to say, "Even when you're winning, we're still capable of coming back; you don't have any advantage over us." It was enough to win the next game. I don't think Lebron or Kobe scores 41 in this game.
