I can relate to the "unreal" feeling of meeting again. Lived with my partner 2 years in my country, Canada, and then we spent 4 months apart when he had to return to Korea and I had to finish up my degree and find a job to get my visa. Even though we video called every single day, it was surreal and almost felt like he looked different when I got to Incheon airport 🤣 It's almost awkward at first (like you said, it almost feels like meeting for the first time), but then you bounce back to being so comfortable and normal together so fast. Happy for you
