there is good reason why the 'fair weather' anglers arent on there. You struggled for one bite with the lake to yourself, the fish are over fished for, most of their mouths are knackered. Its cold and wet also, id rather be blanking on another lake than catch 1 fish there.
Soooo many fish have died theres only around 500 now and thered so many young stockies, wich is funny because the owner will still deny a fish kill and pretend that its a change of rules that have changed the quality of the fish 🤣😭
Goes to show that when your backed by a big player in the Angling game you can pretty much do as you like.. Thorpe Lea Fishery is right on our doorstep but after one of our member's (MrLeesv650) previous bad experience and comments from other angler's we wouldn't fish the venue.. Such a shame because normally like the stuff the boys do on Ridgemonkey..
We are sorry you have had bad experiences there, with hardly any other angling pressure around the lake we was granted access to move around the lake, as Gary has also done with there customers through our knowledge.
@@RidgeMonkeyUK I can understand where your coming from in regards to there not being many anglers there at the time of filming, which in turn lead to Gary giving you permission to wonder around, but alot of places we've gone to you get that option anyway. Obviously if it's busy you can't change swims but if you see fish showing somewhere else like all good anglers you have a move to where the fish are in the hope of bagging one or two, unfortunately this hasn't been the case at Thorpe Lea Fishery, you don't get to do that, the swim your in, that's it your in.. Any way, all said and done, lovely Mirror on the bank which saved the blank on the session.. Tight lines and wet nets from all of us at the Carp Crew Screamers.. 👍🎣
When u pay for a peg u have 2 stay in that peg and u cannot move around as in the video, ive stopped going there after the big KHV VIRUS had hit and wiped alot of carp out, the owner gary is a nice bloke dont get me wrong but u do get told alot of bull on how many carp r caught when u turn up!!!!!!!!!
