I return to this video often. It is absolutely stunning. I love the activity level at the different strata of the tank. The colors of the fish are very vibrant. The scape is very natural. Truly a work of art.
Thanks, it was an amazing tank. The creator of this tank is youtube.com/@biotopia5319?si=RE1A0gjqRDwLZIf5 Who is also publishing a book at Christmas about natural aquarium habitats, it's available in amazon 👍🏻
The tank setup is not completely my style, but it is a treat to see the fish react in there human-made natural habitat. Beautiful. The Hemigrammus Erythrozonus in this video is on my wish list.
What kind of palm leaves are you putting in the tank? I've never seen this in tanks, only in some films of real biotopes. It give really nice lighteffects. Congratulations with this beautifull, natural biotope!
The german blue rams are my favorite fish. And i gotta say, in this video i have seen some stunning ones. (But my female inn breeding mode is still the most stunning fish ever.) Also nice comunity. I like the layout it feels like a drawn out piece off nature. And the difrent types off fish lives in difrent parts off the scape. You have truly masterd this style off aquascaping.
the ph will only drop to a maximum point. I believe its 5.0. its like if you had a gallon of vinegar or a ton of vinegar, the ph is same regardless of quantity. So adding more leaves beyond a certain threshold will not lower ph further.
@@jotascript03 Your English is fine. I'm in the UK and envy the species they can buy in the USA or East Asia, so I know what you mean, for you it sounds really unfair! Sometimes best to go with the easier to find species so you can replace any that die if you can't breed them.
+Miguel Rodrigues I'd like to know, too. Based on my knowledge of plants I see multiple oak species ( Red and White oaks). so I'm guessing a handful from the backyard?
either that or lots of leaves known to lower the ph... almond leaves, oaks i think also lower ph, i guess the owner has harder water so uses lots of wood and leaves to lower it (given they are the specific kinds that lower ph and more natural to the types of fish in the tank) amazing tank though...

This is a biotope aquarium of which river?
I love it . I love the video and the music.
Stunning. Love it!
that tank is off the chain! beautiful. do you get too much ph drop due to large quantity off leaves, or do you use a stabilizer of some sort?
the ph will only drop to a maximum point. I believe its 5.0.

@@jotascript03 I love biotopes too! Good to chat with you fellow aquaria person. I'm sure your aquarium will be amazing either way.
