I put in a black Koehler kit cast iron sink, not realizing that every little scratch would reveal itself over time in the glossy finish. In 2-3 years, it wasn’t looking so good any more. Stick with white cast iron, or go to a whole different material for a sink.
My sink is a Kohler that weighs 137 lbs. There is no way I'm risking my back to lift my sink out. Are there any types of lifts to pull my old sink upwards?
We are looking for a black cast iron at the moment.. is that acrylic you replaced it with? Can I ask why?

I was wondering if anyone has used a car engine hoist to get it out.
I noticed you skipped the alignment of the sink in the hole b4 caulking. What are the steps to do this? That was my biggest question.
