Thanks so much! I don't think I've watched this whole thing since it aired on TV when I was ten.

This is my favorite Katarina. "She makes me love this sport."
She really personified Olympian to me when she reinstated to compete for Germany.

Scott Hamilton sounds like a guy who is in his 20s.

Oksana was the best skater in every way. Brilliant artist on the ice. Tanya was an exciting skater with heart and guts. Would watch either of them anytime. Nancy bores me.

I never realised what a tragic childhood that oksana had.. makes Nancy's reaction to her winning the Olympics even worse..spoilt little rich kid! Oksana was in a class if her own..a million times better than Nancy of Tonya!

Nancy wasn't rich, but she was indeed lucky. She had the look that judges liked, and she had Vera Wang volunteering to design her costumes for free. Whereas Tonya and Oksana had to get their skating equipment and make their own costumes, but both are much more interesting to watch than Nancy imo

Tonya is better than Oksana. The only thing special about Oksana is her artistic elements, but I agree she's better than Nancy.

@@kioftouch a better athlete, yes, but there’s so much more to being a great Figure Skater than being an athlete. To me, she was very similar to Surya Bonaly: they both skated with great power, but lacked grace. The best of the sport possessed a great combination of, both, technical ability and artistic interpretation. Bonaly and Harding seemed to need everything to go flawlessly in technical aspects in order to do well, artistically.
